On a different note, anyone else had issues with the tailgate rattling? This is the 4th Cayman I've owned and not had a problem with it before, the last few drives the noise has been really loud, whilst closed you can wobble the lid and hear it rattling. Is there a simple fix for this?

Yes mine did, took it back to Paragon and they fixed it and no rattles since

Thanks, this is my car! Not really hell bent on selling it, just thought if there was any takers I'd let it go and try something else. I actually bought this after selling my 997.1 GT3RS and as a road car around the North Yorkshire Moors it is sublime.

Whats peoples opinion on my valuation? Not really sure how active or stale the market is at the moment.

Looks well priced to me. Warranty will help out in sale no doubt.

Virtually the same car as mine! I was going to put mine up for the same price - I will be interested to know if you get much interest.

if it was red I might buy it. I do love the white with black graphics but its exact same as my current car so not enough change in look for me.
I wouldn't say competitive priced, but that's just my own opinion. But I am a genuine buyer with cash waiting and been looking since xmas, but just cant find the spec and colour I want. I also don't think these are worth more than £42k unless something very special, and would seem others agree as there are a few at that price or lower now. Actually at present that is about the most R's up for sale at any one time I have seen, and some like the red PDK have been around since xmas!

while there are a few for sale

only ONE manual with buckets under 30k miles for sale and that is the white Mayfair one at £45k so some one either wants a sub 30k miles manual car with buckets or they don't as a choice of 1 !

The other manuals are either high miles 2@ 33k and 39k (nice to see them used) , then one has sports seats and one has no AC from the 2 other manuals left.
the other 7 cars are all PDK

Always a reason for slow sales :-) and always worth a bid on the higher miles cars as they do look a bit pricy.

Some may say the Mayfair one is a bit much, but it's the best car for sale with only 15k miles and 2 year Porsche warranty. It even looks cheap if you look at the other cars for sale and their pricing.
Is an R worth £45k today well who knows, If the Mayfair one sells within 4 weeks then yes I guess :-)

Doesn't have the spyder wheels and in probably the least desirable colour.

it's a very nice car, but it does not have AC, I looked into it for some one.

Colours nice, and the dealer would swap the wheels with their blue PDK car.

So on the face of it its not a bad buy with the better wheels

NO AC in a coupe seems a hard sell, but yes seems a nice car. I prob use my AC maybe 4 times a year ! it is nice on those 4 times though ;-)

Yes agreed and as you say for the majority its a deal breaker plus Silver seems to be a tad out of fashion at present.

Think at 40k they good buys just don't know if id want pdk or manual. Anyhow GT4 coming soon so my GT3 has gone on for sale today...Shame as its a TOP example
Real wiper too, which may put some people off. I'm keeping my eyes open for a silver R.
