I've been in touch with a few dealers recently about selling my R. It's a good spec car only 'downsides' are 32k miles and comfort seats, it has 1.5 years OPC warranty and is in great condition. Dealers seem to give my car a forecourt value of less than the cheapest private R currently for sale - I've always sold to dealers in the past but I'm going to sell this car privately as some are looking at an 8k markup on what they're offering me for a car that was prepped for sale by Porsche 6 months ago.
You'll be fine Gav.MJ911 said:
Still using mine everyday, love it only frustration being our ever-congested roads mean I hardly ever get the chance to stretch its lively legs, grrr.
Anyone in Kent or Surrey with PSE on their R? (or the Carnewal GT exhaust) I would really like to hear it in action from the cabin as I am still very tempted to get it fitted at an OPC but keep reading conflicting accounts about how worth doing it is on an R. Having heard mine from the outside I would say it sounds pretty tasty stock but wouldn't mind a bit more aggressive sounds to match the rpm inside the cockpit, though love the howling intake behind my ears.
There is a good youtube vid where the guy in an R demos the PSE on and off but I get the feeling he has the door open whilst stationary revving so doesn't give a clue to internal 'running' sounds.

Sounds mighty fine externally here too:-

I am near Reigate in Surrey. You are welcome to listen to my PSE in my manual R or I have the spare key to a friends PDK R again with PSE (not sure if yours is Man or PDK).

I've waded through these pages over time and am curious if anyone else has gone down a similar route to mine;
2011 R in Aqua.
Manual with buckets extended leather, a/c and pcm. Spyder wheels with Michelin pilot sport tyres and titanium bolts.
Here,s the interesting bit;
Dms remap, full capristo with 200 cell cats, switchable. K&N air filter, blue brake fluid.
I love it and it brings a smile as soon as I get in it. Switch to open mode and it's awesome. Followed a Gt4 for 11 miles, no apparent difference.
Not raced, tracked or abused, just enjoyed.

Has it been on a dyno?
