Well after the disappointment of the last Cayman I intended to buy, last night a new listing went up on Autotrader from Hoffmans in Henley, so I got in the car first thing this morning to get up and see it, and its bloody lovely, bit more of an easy feeling buying from a specialist dealer than private. Pick it up next Thursday all being well..... And as a bonus, its a much better equipped car, with half the miles, and a about the same cash... Well Happy!

Congrats. Sounds as if leaving the last one has paid off. What spec is it?

It might just have played out nicely.

Spec wise, it's done 27k, full OPC history, so I may look at getting an extended warranty with them.
Nav and Bose, although the Nav unit is coming out for. Pioneer Apple Car Play unit, so a bit pointless.
Climate and Cruise control
No Spasm, but I don't intend to track much
Xenons
Manual

Not sure what else to mention really, should get it next Thursday and hopefully the first job will be to head up to Royal and the wheel covered in alcantara with some nice blue stitching.

The May bank holiday driving over to see the Mother in Law in Brussels, so you can probably guess where I am going on the way back biggrin

Are you sure it has Xenon/Litronics as the photo doesn't show the chromed/silver headlight washer I thought 987s have?

7 comments and no mention of bore scoring, engine failure or the world ending?

Haha. in fairness, all the chat of that yesterday when I looked at another one with issues was constructive rather than doom mongering! smile

Snap! I picked this up on Saturday!

Yours looks stunning, low miles and a nice history with it too, nice find! Mind me asking what you paid?

Seems like a very good price. I'm jealous, only £750 more than mine and half the mileage! Strangely our cars seem to be exactly the same spec.

Yeah in fairness like I said above, had I not gone first thing, was pretty much waiting for them to open, I think I would have missed it, seemed quite a few people fancied it! It just needs detailing now, which hopefully I will get done in the next week or so, seeing that picture of yours, Cobalt blue is such a deep colour, mine is tidy, just not that shiny right now. I bought a DAS-6 and have someone coming up to give me a tutorial so I don't feck it up smile
