Blimey, thats 10k more expensive than the one Paragon sold just before Christmas, and they're not known for their bargain prices either.
This one has all the most desirable options that people want - Spyder wheels, manual, carbon buckets, PCCBs, PSE, short shifter and doesn't have any unnecessary weight added back in. Got to make sure you compare specs on these cars to judge the price.g7jhp said:
Should have ticked the no cost option box for stereo IMO.
A little expensive price wise considering you could have a brand new 981 Spyder for £10k more!
A good spec plus pccb is more like £20k more!A little expensive price wise considering you could have a brand new 981 Spyder for £10k more!
Looks quiet cheap when you consider what other low volume pork is going for these days! And some not all that good!

I think if the 981 Spyder had not come up this year then this car would have be sold by now.
Personally as an owner of a Spyder, I seriously think the cars are worth the money that people are asking for them. Just consider myself lucky that I bought at the near the bottom of the market
As it is reasonably close to the current price of the new Spyder is will put a lot of people off. However the simple facts are that if your names not down for a 981 Spyder, your not getting one. Therefore you either wait for for someone to sell a 981 Spyder (probably at a greater premium than new, possibly +£5-10k) or get a 987 and enjoy the car.
Reckon their will come a time when the 987 exceed the 981 prices due to their driver feel (i.e. shorter wheel base and no electronic nuances to dilute the experience - exactly why a test drive in a 981 fell way shorts for me). However I think that this will be about 5 years off.
Waiting for the Evo back to back comparison with much anticipation

Get one like that, and I'm not sure you can get much better.

All 80 981 Spyders pre sold in UK...........I agree it's a decent spec, I just believe 99% of buyers would prefer a stereo versus any weight saving!

I hate the silver wheels too, and that steering wheel!!
That steering wheel does look like poverty spec, why didn't they use the same wheel as the R...??

Radio and a bling steering wheel can both be retro fitted if that's your preference.

And think of the weight of all that cow hide!!I agree it's a decent spec, I just believe 99% of buyers would prefer a stereo versus any weight saving!
Not sure if I would spec ceramics though at c 10 percent of the cars new cost.
Question is.......would the car be more attractive at c £44k with steels and no leather.
