Why not? Right paint, leather interior. What else do you need? When I say well specced, I don't mean heavily specced.

£63k is NOT a well speced Spyder.

What you need is what you need.

What I need is different and therefore my spec is £76K, PCCbs, carbon trim, PCM, et. Etc.

The weight added? Big deal, un sprung weight, yes please.

whats a good spec? I don't know!

For clarity, I wasn't referring to the weight of the car when I said heavily specced (that's not an issue for me). I suspect I'm about 30 kilos heavier that most people buying a Spyder smile

Power, torque and performance will all be streets ahead of the old model so marginal weight differences this time should not be too much of an issue.

Go basic or plush comfort.....either will be fine.

Interesting 'comparison' between a GT4 and 'manuel' Carrera GTS recently posted on the GT4 thread (sorry no link).

This is interesting, a couple of German guys pit their new 991 GTS and GT4 against each other. They are speaking in German but the outcome on track doesn't need any translation.

Great video (even though I can't understand what they are saying!). Makes me glad I'm going to have both of those cars smile

And happy with my choice of red for the GT4....

I thought the video was pretty lame to be honest. The 'race' looked slow and contrived and did not excite me in the slightest. It looked as if they had decided the winner before the start. Maybe I am getting old :-)

Is your Spyder standard? Your cars featured in the May edition of Evo?

I wasn't really looking at the 'race' as being cool, I more just enjoyed seeing the GT4 in action!
