went for yellow with yellow on yellow, lol after I said it would be too much !
o well, wanted Mexico Blue.
buckets, all the nice bits ticked, no CS pack , (adds loads of weight for no reason imo and if the RS comes out a CS GT4 might be the wrong choice)
£73k fingers crossed on steering feel and gearing other wise it's for sale lol
PEC day in the GT4 29th July so will know more then, I see 1st pec days are the 27th.

I'm booked on 20/July. I doubt I'm the first. The PEC car from what they know is RHD and will have Sport Chrono. They expect it to be highly spec'd but they are only getting a single car.
For those of you who have done so, what is the reason for ignoring the free upgrade to the larger fuel tank? (or is it simply the case that you have ordered it but not bothered mentioning it, as it's not that important / exciting?!)
64l is hardly massive, given the performance and likely fuel consumption from the engine, and the extra range could be really useful! I was frustrated that the 90l tank was not available on the RHD 991 GT3.

are you saying there is a 90L tank option for RHD GT4?64l is hardly massive, given the performance and likely fuel consumption from the engine, and the extra range could be really useful! I was frustrated that the 90l tank was not available on the RHD 991 GT3.

regards the GT3, 90L option has never been offered on RHD, only Euro Spec LHD.

I assumed that if you didn't tick the box for the (optional?) 64l tank you'd end up with a smaller one?!keep it lit said:

I know, but it was mentioned in the early UK brochures, so I was hoping it was available (given I frequently do 300+ mile trips).Edited by sidicks on Saturday 2nd May 20:52
wouldn't call 55 - 64 an upgrade, more like and extra mug full.... still I agree that is a poor size tank for a track car.
because your RHD GT3 is a 'conversion' in regards of steering column position, you end up with the poxy tank.. only the Euro spec cars (not even the US LHD) get the original large design 90L tanks, which are super handy for the Ring and cross Europe adventures!

I didn't realise that!AdamV12V said:
Are you sure? Carrera White Metallic is on permanent stop order isn't it?
On the dealer config screen ordering restrictions on certain colours (incl. Carrara White) were shown together with dates, but apparently my build date is beyond the relevant period so the ordering restriction didn't apply. We'll see, but November is a long time away and Carrara white is not an exclusive colour for the GT4; I guess Porsche are backing themselves to have resolved their supply problem by then.Hello - I'm invited in to fix the spec on mine tomorrow.
Whilst I enjoyed sitting in the GT4/918 bucket seats in Geneva I'd appreciate it if anyone could let me know if it would be a mistake not to specify them.
Do we either go :
1. White club sport car with with cage buckets maybe no sat nav as a focused fast road car
Or
2..nicer daily driver, not white, with sat nav leather sport seats and the sound pack thing?
Is it possible to spec the car badly so that it would be hard to sell after my 3 years in it? Or do they (GT3 type cars) all eventually sell?
I will take the big tank and smokers pack. Do we get free carpet mats?
Thank you for the help.

Surely the answer to this will be answered by the expected use for the car.Whilst I enjoyed sitting in the GT4/918 bucket seats in Geneva I'd appreciate it if anyone could let me know if it would be a mistake not to specify them.

If it is not a daily driver but used for fun/track days then 1.
If used as a daily car, maybe in heavy traffic, not used on track then 2.
Pretty sure there will be a market for both in three years. Which will sell easier is a matter of opinion. Mine is going to be pretty basic mainly used as a weekend toy and track car. GT3 Clubsports indicate that there will be a used market for this spec, especially if most people go the luxurious route.
