Thank you that is helpful. Mine will be weekends only with no track use probably 1000 miles per year.

Crikey, it will take you a couple of years just to break in the engine at that mileage!

Cool. I just want a special car for the odd drive. I ran a really clean 996C4S with similar tiny mileage and in showroom condition and loved it.
Thanks for the input. Think I will stick with buckets having seen what spec people look for on Caymen R's.
1000 miles is 20 miles a week though not enough to warm the oil and will take 5 years to free up that engine lol.
A trip to Spa is more than a 1000 miles. or even 1 trip to Scotland. !

I can see people doing circa 3k PA at a push, but 1k don't seem worth owning it.

As others have said though ,your car.

I do about 2.5k PA in the Spyder and I feel it never goes out even at 2.5k miles.

Interesting what others have specc'd

Finding this thread quite interesting.

I'm on the bubble and have to wait and see what if any cars will be coming in 2016. I have a Spec but obviously can play around in Fantasy land as much as I like at the moment.

I'd be quite frustrated by the current delay on the buckets but maybe I'll benefit from the full colour choice or PTS if I am lucky in 2016!

Nice spec's guys!

Few Q's -

1/ does VTS come as standard?

2/ What do standard headlights look like? I won't be driving it in the dark so couldn't give a to55 about Bi-Xenon's.. but i do want black (or dark grey) cases. £477 a lot of wonga!

3/ Do i need 'Door Trim Package' @ £324.00 to get fluffy bits on me doors?

4/ Are floor mats REALLY £215?? I could carpet a house for less than that!

5/ Where are the Porsche decals? Are they 'aftermarket'?

Based on the previous thread about 'Porsche Trackers', it would appear it's standard on 911's but not Caymans.

Depending on your exterior colour, the dark headlights look good.

No idea!

Is that the fancy (and unnecessary) leather trimmed mats rather than the standard ones?

Looks better without?!

This is getting more interesting. Since a GT4 is not fitted with a tracker as standard it's an extremely dubious legal position that Porsche are adopting if they refuse to honour a warranty claim on another part if an aftermarket tracker has been fitted.
