As for the exhaust manifolds/headers, just search ebay for "boxster exhaust". You should find loads of mnaifolds for £109,00 + circa £10 delivery. They come with new gaskets. 2.5 and tiptronic should be different to S.
The 996/997 throttle body part number should be there too but to save time, see here http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/boxster-performanc... You need 4 of the shorter screws.
You want the 996 or 997 intake distributer/plenum but for MAF to throttle body intake pipe you will need to make one which my thread should show you.
Many people don't like that exhaust you linked as on it's own it is very loud and booms a bit at 70mph. Pair with manifolds and it's a much nicer sound. I'm not convinced the exhaust box adds a whole lot of power but you might consider just doing the bypass mod or doing a Carnewal mod on the existing box. If you do want that exhaust most sellers sell the same thing. Just look at the pictures, they are all the same. They all bulk buy from alibaba.com and at the right buy level they can personalise/brand the product with whatever they want. You should be able to get it at £219 or cheaper.
For track day car also go for the under drive pulley and shorter drive belt. Email me if you want to do this and I will pass on the details so you can get a 4" cheaper version, ditto for poly gearbox mounts.

Power is really all im after- not worried about having a new back box-
So from what you are saying I think ill go for the manifolds as suggested above then probably a 100 cell cat with the Carnewal mod-
Sound good?
Ill email you about the pulley/ belt
thanks again
I think the exhaust helps a bit but I didn't dyno is separately to the manifolds. If you do t ins the extra bit of noise it will help with ultimate numbers. The 100 cell cats are normally very expensive. Worth it if like me you can get lucky and buy them cheaply. They will likely light up your CEL. I tried the lambda spacers to no long term avail. I just then the light off every few months with a code reader but it will be back in a few invention cycles. Passes MOT no probs though.
For a track day car I would also freshen the engine and gearbox mounts. Helps with putting the power down more stabiley. Poly gearbox mounts on mine tighten things up nicely but no extra noise or vibration.

Hi all
I know there has been a fair amount on this in the past but I'm just wondering was the latest consensus is
To get another 15-20 hp out of a boxster S
Mines a 99 3.2 and have just had the mo30 suspension fitted with some track tyres too
But would ideally like a bit more noise ( that could be switchable or not too loud for goodwood/ Bedford)
and also to get the Ecu done via DMS or something Similar
By expecting whopping power but if I can get another 15-20 for a couple of k I would be happy
Appreciate any input if anyone's been down this route
Thanks
I have a 2004 Porsche Boxster 3.2S, and it has never had much trouble until recently when I had to replace the whole front suspension, and found that I will shortly need a whole new exhaust system.I know there has been a fair amount on this in the past but I'm just wondering was the latest consensus is

I originally bought the car for £8000 in 2011 with 40000 miles. Now it has 90000 miles.
My mechanic thought it was time to trade in for a new one, but recently the buying price has got to the point that I would have to pay 50% more than I originally paid in 2011 to buy a new car that is a year older than mine and with 20000 more miles, but my trade-in value is only £3500.
So I'm looking to upgrade instead.
I need a new exhaust so I might as well get one which improves performance. I can fit a digital radio/satnav easily.
