GT4 Colour - what did you actually choose?

I don't believe it's extra allocation, it's more shuffling of allocation between OPCs, and think one person said he'd picked up a cancelled slot.

Interestingly, I had PTS on one configuration and a non PTS on another - couple of weeks ago the PTS disappeared on my non PTS order but was still available on my original PTS configuration.

PTS order just gone in so fingers crossed.... Might choice acid green?

Is Acid Green actually available as an external colour?

I tried to order my GTS in that colour and was told that it wasn't available but I could have Light Green (253) instead which was the nearest shade to Acid Green...........

He believed that, but wasn't the case, Porsche Reading had an additional allocation of 2, as did a few others, but all were Porsche owned dealerships.

Pretty sure I've seen a 918 in it so assumed it was available for the GT4 too.

Acid Green is not on the June 2015 Colour to Sample List

What wheel finish, interior trim etc are you going for?



I'm Viper 255 and going with Silver wheels / wing support. Trying to get PTS painted interior trim but so far no joy. Will probably go with carbon.

Well, after just announcing my Viper order I am going to have to recant!

Placed the order at OPC on Tuesday. Was accepted by Porsche Germany (I have a written order), and ten minutes ago it was cancelled. Now back to the drawing board on colour choice.

Black spoiler supports
Folding buckets
Red stitching red belts standard brakes with red calipers
Carbon interior

Hopefully should tie together nicely. Fancied the yellow band on the steering wheel but not sure

Should look good. I'd personally not go with the yellow band.

Mines going through at the moment too, got everything crossed they accept PTS. How long ago was it they wrote a confirmation ?

So is it back to just the std colours ?

It had been removed from the online configurator last week but when I gave my spec to my dealer on Tuesday his system allowed it - subject to delay (which I was happy with). We both signed off on the order.

It was subsequently cancelled this morning. No real explanation.

I might just substitute the CS pack for the PTS option and go with Carrara.

My PTS order was accepted on the dealer system Tuesday. Cancelled this morning.

paralla tried the yellow band with red stitching and the order was blocked by the German Fashion Police. There was actually a CCTV still of them discussing / laughing about it. I hope they choke on their frankfurters.

You would want a red band with the red stiching, but I guess they haven't got round to that yet.

Would appears that anyone who has submitted a CTS sample in the last 2 weeks will get it rejected when the factory process it. Demand has been high and it pushes the builds out past the allocated end date for builds (so I am told).

I am thankful I didn't dither and got mine in the morning it went live. Even then I was old that I couldn't have CTS, LWB and CS on same order but it was overruled and allowed (that was about a month ago).

Shocking how Porsche can have options and keep changing their mind, will be my first Porsche let alone new one and the buying experience is 'interesting'.

I would say it heightens the anticipation ..... but it doesn't it's mildly annoying!!

Hey ho what ever colour you get it will be an awesome car, look great and worth the wait
