It is not that far off from a cayman S really.
I could never take anything you say again seriously after that gem rev range 2 is just hitting the limiter in sports mode.
Better than your misses doing 30mph up a hill in 6th.
Car markets slow imo, I have been having my eye on a few things and all the same cars are for sale 4 or 5 months on.
This has only been for sale a week !

The CR at park lane OPC is a nicer car one owner with only 15k miles and 2 years warranty at £45k but even that has not shifted (needs chrono and short shift which I am sure you would be able to deal on)unless a CR/Spyder is below circa 15k miles and has a good spec,1 or 2 owners and some opc warranty is it worth around £45k most cars I see advertised are worth £40kish and a lot less if over 30k miles.

I think it's a great car, just about £7k overprice for a private sale, in my opinion....The CR at park lane OPC is a nicer car one owner with only 15k miles and 2 years warranty at £45k but even that has not shifted (needs chrono and short shift which I am sure you would be able to deal on)unless a CR/Spyder is below circa 15k miles and has a good spec,1 or 2 owners and some opc warranty is it worth around £45k most cars I see advertised are worth £40kish and a lot less if over 30k miles.
OPC cars seem to be selling quickly don't they? Even the rubbish cars with heated armchairs like mine seem to be selling.
Not driven mine for a few weeks, have developed a back issue so can't drive a manual at the moment, my garage might have to change around soon if the chiropractor can't sort it

depends if you get the car for £45k, you get a years free mileage over cars with twice the miles. The CR at park lane OPC is a nicer car one owner with only 15k miles and 2 years warranty at £45k but even that has not shifted (needs chrono and short shift which I am sure you would be able to deal on)unless a CR/Spyder is below circa 15k miles and has a good spec,1 or 2 owners and some opc warranty is it worth around £45k most cars I see advertised are worth £40kish and a lot less if over 30k miles.
the car will feel like new. put 8k miles on it and it's still way under a 20k miles car when most will be over 30k miles in another year.
then what you pay now will repay you back imo.
Seem NO R for sale at Park lane any more !
OPC are right back at only 3 R's for sale ALL AUTOMATICS last time I looked there were over a page worth , these things are still selling fast .

Park lane car was on sale for over a month so I wouldn't call that fast! I think reasonable cars under£40k are selling easier!
The £49k doesn't even have PSE and is very low spec so even with the mileage should be circa£43k forgetting of coarse RR2!
So you think 4 weeks is a long time to sell a car ! ODD.The £49k doesn't even have PSE and is very low spec so even with the mileage should be circa£43k forgetting of coarse RR2!
I would say every manual R and Spyder for sale will have RR2 , who cares ?
I hit the limiter the other day in mine(spyder not R) having a bit of a ding dong with a car so loud I could not hear my own. it's a non issue.
far worse to let your misses drive it up hill in 5th at 30mph !!! and there is NO record of that ! Or buying a car which does the work run and never gets upto temp (most I would say) ;-/
to say a 5 year old car which has spent prob 0.5 seconds on the limiter in 5 years is an issue is stupid.

No but it is not a quick time though,my SPYDER took 5 weeks not exactly quick but it all comes down to price as it would have sold in a week at a slightly lower price
(I would say every manual R and Spyder for sale will have RR2 , who cares ?)
No mine never had RR2 ! But did have 45 ignitions at RR1 which is nothing to worry about!

My misses never drove it without me but I agree with what you are saying

Agreed but you cannot ask top dollar for it compared to a car that hasn't ,but it doesn't say how long and how often it spent at RR2 but you certainly would not advertise the fact but as said before if only > a few hundred ignitions on less than a few occasions nothing to worry about but I still rather by a car without!

My rather high spec one (bought by Southern Sky Motors) sold within 3 days if advertising because I gave it away at £35700....
At least any prospective buyer knows exactly what margin they have in the car.I think this kind of honest post is excellent though as it gives a true indication of what cars are selling for as opposed to what people are asking for them.
