Going to look at a 2.5 Boxster (99) T plate this weekend. 90k miles nice spec, clutch replaced at 50k.
I have owned a few Porsche's in my years - 944T SE, 968 Sport, 911 Carrera 3.2, 944T (again) and in recent years have been priced out of the market. I have saved up a small amount to buy and look after a 2.5 boxster.
Reading around, the advice goes from 1) Laughable, under powered utter rubbish to 2) great car, will appreciate, chassis is superb.
What is the definative and what should i look out for when viewing this car. I am more than happy to try and perform a few maintainace tasks myself as I now have a double garage and it will be our third car.
