Boxster 2.7 (987) anything to look out for?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at getting the other half a Boxster as her daily drive.

This will be her first Porsche and I am looking at a 2.7 987 around the £10k mark and around 2005-2007.

Having not had one before, anything to look at or must have options? being its getting on a bit, I will be servicing it at non OPC (9E or Parr are very close) and I understand they are 2 year service intervals (so an oil change every year in addition, 2 years is too long)

Engines any good?

Apart from all the usual checks when purchased a used car, pay attention to consumables such as tyres and discs as the cost of these can quickly add up. When checking the discs, try and have a look at the backs of them as they are prone to rusting.
