Is Aqua Blue "the best colour seen on any car"?
Discussion
Clarkson described it as such in his Cayman S review, half way down here: http://www.driving.co.uk/car-reviews/the-clarkson-...
Not keen on the current Sapphire Blue, but as I'm looking for a 2013-ish car Aqua does come up. Not seen one in the flesh though, so those that have may be able to comment?
Otherwise I'm after a Cayman in Guards Red, or one of the Silvers (probably not Platinum). A blue Porsche doesn't really seem "correct"?

Aqua blue was a fabulous colour as was cobalt blue that preceded it. Sapphire looks quite watery when seem next to either of these colours. We had 2006 Boxster S in cobalt and then a Cayman S and Carrera S in aqua. Just felt like. A change from blue this time round hence our current Boxster GTS in Carrara white. Here's a photo of our cobalt Boxster, the car we have more affection for than all the others!

Any bold blue looks good to me, and they're all better than boring monochrome greys of varying shades IMHO. I drive past some forecourts these days and all I see is a line of dull grey cars of varying shades. Sometimes they get brave and have a completely white or completely black car in amongst them, but certainly nothing as racey as a blue!
I had both Aqua and Voodoo.. Obviously very different blues but equally stunning.
Aqua is deep and changes a lot in the shade and sun.. and has a depth which is phenomenal and that the colour which replaced it simply lacks (Sapphire I think they called it).
Voodoo is obviously just special.. but would work on my GT3 not sure on a vanilla model to be frank. On a Vanilla model I would go Aqua again. Really stunning. Somehow thinks it works best on the 991 than the 997.. GT3 .2 RS aside where with the gold stripes it was just magnificent.
