Have to give final spec on Boxster GTS

Your car will look amazing! Carmine red beautiful, when I specced mine I narrowed the colours down to carmine or Carrara white metallic. Ended up choosing the latter due to the spiralling cost having decided on PCCB! I would definitely gone for the gloss black finish wheels to match the gloss black GTS exterior pack though.....

Than your carmine red. Whatever, your car will look magnificent, of that I have no doubt!

It's all personal choice isn't it?
I chose Guards Red which is one of those colours that looks incredible in the flesh but photographs poorly, it was also no cost compared to the Carmine which is expensive for a solid colour. I wasn't keen on the red trim interior - with mine I have the standard GTS interior and added the carbon interior trim, looks classy IMO and all the better for not having the red stitching and centre dial. Only other thing is for some reason adding the carbon trim forces you to have a leather steering wheel, and it adds the carbon/aluminium gear lever too which is very classy.

[quote=Cyb1967]Right chaps last thoughts is it worth having GTS exterior Pack?
And then would you have satin grey wheels or partial black wheels on the standard wheels that come with the car[/quote
For me (and what we chose on our Boxster GTS) I'd have the exterior pack that gives gloss black on front spoiler, side air intakes, base of door mirrors, roll bars and rear under tray and match it with the standard Carrera S wheels painted in gloss black (partial). For the interior if you don't like the interior pack painted go for either brushed aluminium or carbon trim. The standard metal look plastic trim strips cheapen the otherwise quality interior IMO.

We went GTS exterior and Partial gloss black wheels, left the rollover hoops in gloss black too. And then would you have satin grey wheels or partial black wheels on the standard wheels that come with the car
What exterior colour are go going with?
We had the chance to view both exterior finishes in showroom at Leeds, the gloss black finish just looked so good. Mine will be more of a weekend car though, can imagine it would look hammered if doing plenty of motorway miles on daily basis. I went to view a second hand Carrara White with GTS exterior at Kendal OPC. They had painted both front intakes and splitter after 6000 miles.
Suppose it's all down to what you are doing on a daily basis, but all cars need TLC at some point.
Jay.

It was in both modes but it was more pronounced in Sports mode which is to be expected, as for me personally the X73 seems a half-way house between Sports and normal mode in terms of suspension firmness but the damping was miles better. It just seem to ride the road a lot better and we tested it on the track and on the roads in and around Silverstone PEC.
However, one minor thing which I did find a small surprise when back to backing the suspension the PASM felt numb in comparison the X73 just felt more alive.
Completely agree. PASM numbs the car out - good description. The passive suspension setup Porsche offer with X73 is brilliant. I don't miss PASM which was specced in my 987.However, one minor thing which I did find a small surprise when back to backing the suspension the PASM felt numb in comparison the X73 just felt more alive.
Today was the final day and after all your advice and help I finished up with this spec car due UK 12/2/16 delivery 1/3/2016
