Just noticed that there are only 28 GT4's now for sale oh PH with the cheapest at 90k. It was a lot more than that wasnt it not too long ago?
Are they starting to be filtered into keepers hands now?
Towards the end of June there was around 35 individual GT4's for sale. Prices will continue downwards until the supply reduces. I think we'll need to wait until Spring next year to have a better understanding of where prices are.Are they starting to be filtered into keepers hands now?

Some good prices on these now. If they did a PDK I'd be on the prowl. But then again it does actually have a pretty sexy manual....I wonder if my left leg still works?
The same prices the last 3 months ! and it being a manual which keeps them at these prices.PDK lol how sad.

I just called them and they said its SOLD so can't work that out as its only just been added.http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

It's an odd price so something a bit of a miss there i think. Didn't sound like a place I'd want to buy a car from either from my brief conversation with them.

such tossers. Ive reported both ads so should be removed.dickyf said:
without going through every thread and advert i am correct in thinking average GT4s prices are circa £95k down from the £105k's seen last year?
I think previously the average has been about 102 - 103k and is now about 95k by my calculation ignoring the black car which is a fake ad at 75k.From what I've seen cars are being snapped up at more of a rate so there are less on the market at the moment. - 25 cars pn PH whereas before we were what 35?

Ok, so I've done some analysis and here is my opinion based on the following points:
25 'genuine/available' GT4's available for sale on Pistonheads (out of 29). Previously 33 (15th June).
6 new since my last check, admittedly too long ago to be valid. 14 removed, be that sold or returned.
The average is £96,917, down from £99,475 on last check. The low price is £88,950 and the high price £109,995 (which is way over priced).
Interesting pattern forming, in that most £100k+ cars have come down to £90k+, but those previously priced at £88k-£89k have gone up to around £93k.
911Sport have finally dropped the price of their £114,950 GT4 down to £96,995, and have had this car since before I started logging back in March. They asked too much too early and are now suffering as a result (one would assume).
Only 4 with delivery miles.
Only 2 with Clubsport.
Only 2 without PCM.
Based upon the previous 14 being sold (only an assumption) the most popular selling colours are White and Sapphire Blue; the worst Agate Grey. Paint to sample colours not selling but maybe down to premiums.
Colours for sale:
5 Agate Grey
3 Black
2 GT Silver
3 Guards Red
1 Riviera Blue
2 Sapphire Blue
1 Viper Green
6 White
2 Yellow
Best value tourer: G C Motors £88,990 (comfort seats etc)
Best value all rounder: Private (West Midlands) £93,985 (black, 14 miles)
Best value track weapon: Lodge Motor Company £89,950 (clubsport)
Opinion on where prices are going, ignoring variables such as economy or future models? I would have said mid to high 80's, but an interesting pattern has formed with a few cars increasing their prices. I'd say for the rest of the summer and into autumn, low 90's, with a slump over winter before firmed up prices in the spring when all cars have been delivered and the £10k flippers have gone.

There are definitely a few more gt4's as not all dealers are advertising.
I know Bristol currently have 2 cars. They did have three but I have just purchased that and collect it on Monday.
I agree with what everyone is saying, generally the market seems to have settled at about 5-10k lower than it was at the start of the year and it seems more cars are being snapped up.
This follows the trend in other markets like property, which was also overheated.

We sold a GT Silver Clubsport that was talked about on here for £87,500
4K miles
We were offered a white comfort car with less than 1k miles for £81k via another dealer.
Shock horror dealer talks prices down when buying and prices up when selling!4K miles

My sister in law as sold a few cars most recently a RR Evoque to WBAC because she cannot be bothered to sell privately and gets more than she would from selling to a dealer and this particular car she got the same money as Rover offered as a trade in on a new RR 9 months ago!She has always got what they have said on line apart from when she put down wrong mileage and was marked down a few hundred quid.So about 4-5 months ago I posted my car on there out of interest and again a week or so ago with an extra 1k miles on the clock and the price has only dropped about £1k so still a healthy premium.
