Sadly a new (old) barn that requires fairly costly external renovation in the next 9 months means when I get back from holiday later this week mine will be going up for sale too (if I can bring myself to write the ad that is).

OPC want £circa 4K sale or return (called a few for others info they ranged from £3-6k).

I think I will try and sell private for a week or two first before I drop it to OPC. Haven't decided on a price but based on what others seem to have actually sold for in the region of £96k seems sensible given it has £14k of options (inc Mexico Blue, 918, club sport) plus a £2.6k detail, ppf, 16 plate etc.

I'll let you know how I get on as I know others are interested in what the true sale price is on these cars.
Would have thought Mexico would be a decent premium?

Yup seems so, Porsche seem to think £100 - £105k is a realistic sale number via them.

I'll stick it up on PH on Friday eve without the SOR tax added and see how it goes.

seems you are lucky to get the value of the PTS cost back on the GT4 at the £2.8k cost

the Viper green one for £96k has been for sale 8 months ! looks great and a GT colour as well.

Just need that one person to like mexcio though and it will sell, but imo £90k seems the selling figures.

Well I count 35 Porsche Cayman GT4 For Sale on Pistonheads this morning for between £87k and £110k (plus another 2 which have sold).

That's a fair few cars, I'm sure a few 'speculators' will be worried they're not going to sell and will be thinking about cashing out before the premium disappears!

Will the premium disappear though? I think they will always stay above 85k.

At present the cars for sale are all low miles, pristine, nothing needs fixing and they are barely run in. And those are £90k. Roll forward a year or so and higher mileage, more maintenance to be done etc and surely they drop below 85.

yep Top 555 sold about 5 GT4's in the last 2 weeks inc Romans one !

they seem to have no issue selling a GT4 for some reason.

The only colour worse than viper is peridot IMHO, I would rather have a standard colour personally, 8 months seems testimebt to that not being just my view, plus red stitching with a green car - hmm again not for most I suspect.

Just been advised a decent, as in people want them, PTS in a respectable colour - Vodoo, sold for £98k yesterday without officially going up for sale and with £7 of other options so £90k seems v light based on sold cars.

I may yet have a last minute reprieve on selling mine as sold my last batch of bitcoins overnight. Hoping they cover enough of the works required to renovate as I know a sale would be regrettable!

I am picking my new new one next week. The guy I am using to help with a little finance on the car has done a few GT4's and he released funds last week for another customer who just bought a GT4 from Top 555 for £109k! I have no idea on the spec of that car but it surely shows the right cars are selling and people are still prepared to pay a fair premium if it's exactly what they want.

I take it you don't like green then lol. I loved the peridot on my R and viper is a great colour.
As you well know I cancled mexcio blue on my gt4 in the end , in real life was to light for me.

VooDoo as stated is a better bolder colour IMO if one likes blue.

991 GT3s are still way above list retail even approaching 3 years old and 10k+ miles.

Actually I nearly got swung by Birch green loved that having seen the viper and that in the flesh no comparison.

Vodoo and Mexico are the two to have in my view but it's all personal taste when it comes to colours.

95% of the compliments I've had on the car are the colour and I have noted a huge swing dependant on light. Look how dark it looks in this pic (the c1 glows compared to it).

yes it's people pics which made me spec Mexcio in the 1st place, but in real life I changed my mind last minute at PEC :-)

Internet pics are over saturated imo, people do it to make the cars look good ;-)

prime example, what you hope it looks like and how to sell it ;-)

what it really looks like :-) just a tad darker than the riviera car in front. again a Colour I wanted till I saw one for real !!!

this looks more real to me and a good chart

Voodoo the right bold blue for a GT4 imo but that's only my own taste of course.

Never ever seen mine look that washed out that doesn't even look like Mexico at all TBH.

Should never rely on pics as a lense never catches the true colour / what the eye sees.

yep do nothing for me esp salmon pink, good job we all like different things though as it would be dull if we all had to drive silver.
