The wholesale offloading of overs cars is everywhere.
There are 8 M4 GTSs for sale, that's 25% of production! It's been out 4 months and I'm not even sure all have have been delivered yet.
Compare that to what, 8% of GT4s for sale?

Some sites such as Blowers are selling Daytonas at 15k but Watchfinder have a big selection starting at just over 8k for a nice Daytona.

No box no papers and old style bracelet. Probably cost sub 5k new. http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Rolex/Daytona/116520/...
Bringing it back on topic I'm hoping they keep going up in value as if they do I will be flogging mine to get into a GT4.
If these hit 17.5k, that is 25% of a gt4 at the prices some of you are suggesting they will be at next yr.
Both are not exactly low production limited edition but I know which one would give me more pleasure and get used more.

9k gets you box and papers albeit an older watch but then with Rolex, old is just as good as new - 15k for a cerachrom bezel and apparently an 18 year wait if you put your name down.Bringing it back on topic I'm hoping they keep going up in value as if they do I will be flogging mine to get into a GT4.

Makes getting a GT car look like much less of an issue!

My price gauge has always been what a car with buckets, Leather, PCM and carbon is selling for below 3k miles it's been £90k for months and months now and looking at the OPC site the cheapest GT4 with buckets, Leather, PCM and carbon below 3k miles is £92k
Have you seen this lovely Sapphire Blue Metallic GT4?My price gauge has always been what a car with buckets, Leather, PCM and carbon is selling for below 3k miles it's been £90k for months and months now and looking at the OPC site the cheapest GT4 with buckets, Leather, PCM and carbon below 3k miles is £92k

... I guess that leaves you £6k to buy a carbon sticker sheet from Halfords

I know Murray is on here as he was debating selling this or not. Almost identical spec to mine so will be interesting to see how fast (or slow) it sells. It is in my biased view a great price for the spec, in the best colour combination for the GT4 (aside from the questionable yellow stitching imv). Good luck with the sale Murray.http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

I still don't get why everyone is getting so worked up on prices and values. So there are a load of cars on the market...to many for the current stable demand and as a result if people want to stand out and actually sell then they may need to drop prices. Also we now have more cars with miles on the clock, previously only about 50% had more than a few hundred on the clock, so that will result in some being priced at lower levels.
Also look the 991 GT3 RS, which has a similar problem at the moment, before every car was at least £230k, now there are cars trading at £190k with "good" specs. Is this in part due to the 911r or also a similar issue with to many cars on the market for current demands and also more cars available that are no longer classified as new and therefore have a price drop.
Its a great car, if your one of the lucky few enjoy, if not and you really want one go and buy it. If you are purely buying to not lose money then your not buying the car for the right reasons in the first place.
If you compare it to a 911 Carrera S which in crude terms that what this is if you add up the relative differences then the GT4 is an absolute bargain, as list on those starts at £85k and you can be certain that will have more depreciation.

Some owners have spent more time composing posts, often in such a frenzy that they can't find the shift key, than driving the thing.
Buckets are definitely essential - to cart away the horse manure!
Yes and virtually no mileage !

I will be at Silverstone on 1st Nov if you chaps and any others (ChrisW) fancy coming
I'll be there. Not in a Porsche, in a grey Exige 360 Cup. You'll be in a GT4? What colour?Who is the organiser ?
I could do with a play-day out
Thanks. Had a number of calls and someone local came to see it tonight, been debating to sell for a while but hardly using it as no 3 has arrived and the current Mrs. Murray keeps asking me to take the other 2 out.... thinking of a 991 GTS.... although GT4 does look so bloody good still!!! Ps - Yellow Stitch and in particular the 12 o'clock marker on steering wheel are in my opinion 100% essentials - looks fantastic. shame can't get yellow on a 991 GTS =, needs to be red and then you get a horrible red centre dial....

Meant to add a pic to previous post, to deviate from constant price chat - these cars sure do look good....

Then get a white one. I followed one today on a 'spirited drive'. Looked and sounded great. Hope the owner didn't mind being closely stalked by a little Cayman R. v8ksn said:
Ah, yep! Fair enough, I didn't see the OPC caveat in Mr D's original post.
:-) I am very carful these days as people look at my posts like a Sparrowhawk.that Private Blue one is the best value car for sale atm, so be interesting how fast it sells.
bit lower spec than mine , I have Climate, Carbon, Cruise, and a few exclusives bits, but £86k was the price I was going to have a punt at with mine.
Might put mine up at £87k now to keep the price vs spec up :-p
£4k is just enough to tempt people away from an OPC prices imo.
shame that car does not have Climate control on such a nice spec car.
