So you didn't buy a new Panamera every year to get an allocation for a GT4, you got the allocation because you bought the Panameras. Which is fair enough.
no that would be CRAZY, I buy them because I like the cars, I have 2 of the new ones on order one for me and one for my now ex wife (good terms so I still sort out the cars). Getting a GT4 and probably the next GT911 is bonus. My DD is a 911 I have had around at least 6 911's over the last few years and will keep buying them.

When asked what colour mine is I say it's .... 'lady boy blue'
That alone has to be worth a handy shandy even when the car is worthless.
That would be a much better use of people's time, a thread to rename Porsche Colours (all a bit dull).
Gay Yellow and Lady Boy Blue as a starter for 10!

There has been a fairly dramatic drop from 27 to 20 in about a week. They're either selling or perhaps Porsche have camped down on the dealers again?
None of the 6 cars in the 80,000 have sold. I'm surprised that the ball one at Newcastle for 83990 hasn't gone yet with leather, PCM and Carbon.
I think the people who can afford £80k can afford £90k and want the spec to go with it.
as for "I'm surprised that the black one at Newcastle for 83990 hasn't gone yet "
I am not surprised one bit it's got chairs !
Things only start to get nice from the £93k Leicester GT4 imo.

n.
Cardiff still has its 5 cars! So only 15 spread across the rest! They're either selling or perhaps Porsche have camped down on the dealers again?

I have noticed that only certain dealers have and had advertised cars the rest must have allocated to non flippers!
Clearly if a 2 year old low miles last of the N/A 991s is circa £80k not including the 991/50 which seem to be circa £100k and the 991 GtS is circa £95k then surely a Gt4 will always be priced somewhere closer in price to the gts

I disagree, even though I had buckets in mu GT4, the 18 ways in my GTS are the best seats I've ever sat in. As previously stated some people, possibly quite a lot of people will be stretching themselves to buy a GT4 especially considering they're above listas for "I'm surprised that the black one at Newcastle for 83990 hasn't gone yet "

.
Price is important and 10k is a lot of money to a lot of people.
18 ways in a GTS suit the car just like Buckets go well with GT cars
always been the same. yes the odd buyer wants normal seats but it's rare, esp the older the car the more a lemon a GT car is to sell with out buckets.
I remember GT3 with chairs doing the rounds at dealers and not selling for months, most good dealers wont touch a GT car with chairs now as they have been burnt before.
nothing new here to get excited about imo.
you can disagree all you like lol the cheaper low spec cars are not moving, the higher spec cars are selling.

NB calling them 'chairs' makes you sound like an utter knob
Normal Porsche sports seats would be considered top of the line in almost any other mainstream car.
I'd be more worried about the gay yellow paint frankly.
I love the personal comments Scott thank,s for calling me a knob, it made me laugh, as personal comments make people look like Trolls which they try and make some thing from it and seem to always fail !
I am not obsessed with seats at all, just pointing out GT cars really need buckets to sell, and to quote "I love my Sports seats in my GTS" is a moot point when it comes to GT cars.
Chairs is the name which has been funny and has caught on and upsets people with chairs.
I love gay yellow and not worried at all, it looks great, you don't, woo hoo don't let it upset you too much :-)
But what does concern me is your obsession with knobs and Gays in the post ! , is it a coming out post ?

Me I don't have a problem with chairs but when buckets were unavailable for the 4 I would have taken sports seats over 18s! For me they are lighter, cheaper but also I wouldn't be constantly pressing the buttons to get comfortable when the standard sports seats do just as good a job as the 18s!
Me, I'd avoid buckets like the plague. my dodgy back is very sensitive to small variations in seat position and the buckets for a start seem too upright. I'd want the 18-ways and when I was considering persuading Mrs M that we needed to spend circa 90K on a GT4 I 'rejected' plenty of the cars on offer. on seat grounds
In the end it was easier to persuade her that a GTS (with 18-ways) made sound sense...

Actually the folding buckets Imo hold you in such a good posture so it's not the seats it's the suspension! Before I crossed over I would swear by sports seats and would avoid cars with buckets, but when I bought my 987 spyder that came with folding buckets I expected the worse but how wrong was I but I will concede that I find the 918 style not for me and yes there is an art getting in out of the car!
For the record I am over 50 and so is my wife and we both suffer with sciatica but we love the folding buckets over long journeys with no problems and both find them more comfortable than previous sports seats

Fair enough. Maybe they'd work for me. But if I took the risk and got it wrong I'd be stuffed. Better to play safe...For the record I am over 50 and so is my wife and we both suffer with sciatica but we love the folding buckets over long journeys with no problems and both find them more comfortable than previous sports seats
FFs to put this rather boring seat argument finally to bed just ask any buyer of GT cars at any OPC which car is more desirable to the market hence worth more and they will confirm a GT4 with buckets retails up to around £4k more than one with sports seats.
Yes there will always be those who prefer sports seats or adaptives but these are in an absolute minority and quite clearly to the GENERAL MARKET I.e. the majority buying a GT4 bucket seats are a priority.
Also, whilst some MAY find the sports or adaptives more comfortable, the MAJORITY of GT4 buyers find the buckets not only more comfortable for the intended use of the car but also more suited to its use whether that be track or rapid road use.
