I been away few weeks just having a read through and the car I mentioned before seems even better value now - have GT4's come off a fair bit then? Before anyone says anything it isn't mine I have one which I love just a bit surprised...

I have been keeping an eye on that also. Finally in the 70's. How much would this have been new? around £70?

Looks like value to me. It has buckets, nav and leather dash. Those would be "must haves". And it has them. Surprised this hasn't been snapped up despite the 7K miles.

The mileage is the killer especially on a 16 65.

not really a killer it is 10 months old and great to see its been used and enjoyed. If I was in the market for a GT4 at £74950 I would be all over that car.

Were I not commited to a Part Ex, I'd have that in a heartbeat. Cracking car and a really good price.

Its not a Mondeo.

Its a Porsche, a GT Porsche, and 7k is high mileage for the cars age.

That is why the car is cheap.

This may come as a shock, but I'm not entirely new to relatively high end cars, but thanks for the very informative lesson on the nuances of the Porsche market.

Might be SOR.

That red one I'd have, but wrong time of the year to part with my BGTS.

means nothing, I see cheap cars all the time, day on day, people want to get out of them, that guy has put it up to get his money back and was prob better than a trade offer.

I have missed out on 5 or 6 cheap cars the last few months in all brands, it happens.

I am sure any one wanting a GT4 who wants to pay list price will put their money where their mouth is and buy it.
or do we have a forum full of talkers ?

great car , great spec, list price who's buying it ?

Does that not tick all your boxes on 'decent' spec or does having 7k over 3k mean that every 1k miles driven = £3750 knocked off the asking price?

Might as well wait then as itll be list soon enough if the owner is driving it

miles, spec means nothing on sales like this. that is circa list price.

what the price means is the buyer wants out and has used the car and happy to get his money back for a quick sale.

Look , how do dealers get all these top end cars, like Romans, Top555, TH etc etc people are getting out of cars every day and way below market value.

If any one wants a higher spec GT4 at list price this is the car to buy this weekend, then we are back to normal.

As an avid car buyer, I see great value cars day on day, it's just being quick enough to get them.

what's moved ?

I went to by a Mini GP it was up at £18k for a 8k mile car, it's now at a dealers at £22k

guess what no one said Mini GP prices were dropping, just because 1 cars sells cheap.
I could say the same for many many cars

I went for an Exige CUP last week end for £36k , it sold in a few hours and really was a £45k car
It did not drop Exige prices they are still at £45k

what the red GT4 will show is if any one on here who was bleeting about they will only buy at list, if they step up and buy the car, I am sure it will be gone in a few days, but will any one here buy it.

£74k? That price is stupidly low at around list for the spec it includes. Are we sure that is 'all in' and doesn't have VAT added on top, as some we've seen before have? All for sensible pricing, or a quick sale, but nothing suggests urgency on the ad. I'd be cautious with this one. I doubt the mileage is the logic behind that price! hmmm

You are as contrary as you are inflammatory and appear to be in here for one reason alone, which is to provoke arguments.
You trot out the same st, time after time, adapting the argument to your skewed view as the conversation dictates. This car is a belter, at a really good price. That's it. Nobody, absolutely nobody is stating it's the start of the prices tumbling, and I for one don't really care. I'll get one when the time is right for me, not you.

you buying it then ? or all talk it seems lol , got to love forums :-)

You see the "if I had some money I would snap that up " time and time again on here, it's funny
now we get the I'll buy at list posters who, lets take a guess won't buy st ever.

I have said nothing which I can see being opposite I have said before.
