I been away few weeks just having a read through and the car I mentioned before seems even better value now - have GT4's come off a fair bit then? Before anyone says anything it isn't mine I have one which I love just a bit surprised...

£74k? That price is stupidly low at around list for the spec it includes. Are we sure that is 'all in' and doesn't have VAT added on top, as some we've seen before have? All for sensible pricing, or a quick sale, but nothing suggests urgency on the ad. I'd be cautious with this one. I doubt the mileage is the logic behind that price! hmmm
or it simply shows that trade bids are very far behind listed asking prices which is why I had found already at the end of june. Mileage it seems these days is the bane of the price of a GT porsche.

you buying it then ? or all talk it seems lol , got to love forums :-)

You see the "if I had some money I would snap that up " time and time again on here, it's funny
now we get the I'll buy at list posters who, lets take a guess won't buy st ever.

I have said nothing which I can see being opposite I have said before.
No, I'm not buying it because my money is in an Aston Martin DBS manual coupe. If and when I opt to change, then I shall either sell that privately, or opt for Part Ex. But I've already stated that I'd need a partex, so I was never going to buy the red one, was I? Or are you just not bright enough to read and remember what has been written? Forums eh?

what's moved ?

I went to by a Mini GP it was up at £18k for a 8k mile car, it's now at a dealers at £22k

guess what no one said Mini GP prices were dropping, just because 1 cars sells cheap.
I could say the same for many many cars

I went for an Exige CUP last week end for £36k , it sold in a few hours and really was a £45k car
It did not drop Exige prices they are still at £45k

what the red GT4 will show is if any one on here who was bleeting about they will only buy at list, if they step up and buy the car, I am sure it will be gone in a few days, but will any one here buy it.

what the price means is the buyer wants out and has used the car and happy to get his money back for a quick sale.
We've seen the car on sale for a few weeks now, first at 84k, then 82k, now dropped down to 75k. Not proven easy to shift privately even though it looks like a nice car. If there weren't so many flippers for sale it would have sold for more already that's for apparent, too much supply not enough demand, the seller gave it a chance to sell for more but no takers.

It was only a matter of time, far to many for sale with silly asking prices.

Trade bids are far lower than these crazy prices being asked.

It won't be long before more are in the 70s

Few buyers willing to pay inflated prices; the 'sellers' not that interested in selling. No deals done.

Someone wanting to sell offers at a price attractive to a buyer (it would seem). Deal done to mutual satisfaction.

It's how markets work.

Oh dear I have done 9,000 miles in mine now. Since March and with 3 months off driving. Thats nearly 2000 miles a month when I've been using it.

It's going to be worthless but hey ho - I bought it to enjoy. And I do.

Well we could day the Top555 yellow car sold in one day at £106k this week.

But people then don't quote GT4 are going up !

OPC cars are down from 27 to 20, top555 have now sold about 15 GT4 at top money every time.
We have also 2 owners just sold here for £95k

Cars are selling, it's a very sort after model.

I personally doubt whether the red private sale 7k miler at that price is truly representative of the market atm despite us rapidly approaching Christmas. For the record mines a keeper until at least the new GT3 next year.

And there could be all sorts of reasons why the owner wanted a rapid sale despite the thickish mileage. The Sapphire 9k miler at the OPC is clearly overpriced at £90k. IF the red one is a genuine original car with no skeletons, and the price includes VAT someone has bagged a seriously cheap car even taking account of the mileage.

The spread between trade and retail on GT4s has expectedly increased but this is no different to 991 GT3s where trade bids even from OPCs on good spec cars are now behind otr list at this time of year. But they are still selling retail at substantial premiums for the right cars.

'...sort after...' ?

The only way a yellow GT4 is selling for that money is if they throw in a free M2 to sweeten the deal!

Top555 do seem strange in the asking prices and no one knows what they really sell for.

Sort after as in the GT4 is a very much sort after car in any colour.

I see prices up after March 2107 but we will have to wait and see on that one.
ATM it's winter bargine hunting time and we will see cheap cars in all makes, it's nothing new.

The reson this car sold was due to it looking sensibly priced compared to the other over priced cars out there.

If sellers really want to sell they will have to drop there pricing.

Such a shame low violume gt4rs was never realised as it may of helped the overs situation on a normal gt4

Always good bargains pre end of year buying secondhand or new! Best time to buy and worse time to sell !
Had nearly 17% off two new previous Porsches buying end of year!
Need to revisit this post springtime to have true indication of prices
