The reson this car sold was due to it looking sensibly priced compared to the other over priced cars out there.

If sellers really want to sell they will have to drop there pricing.

Such a shame low violume gt4rs was never realised as it may of helped the overs situation on a normal gt4
One could argue the seller bought it, used it, enjoyed it and sold for close to what he bought it for and was satisfied with that. It sold to a dealer for 73k btw.

Top555 do seem strange in the asking prices and no one knows what they really sell for.

Sort after as in the GT4 is a very much sort after car in any colour.

I see prices up after March 2107 but we will have to wait and see on that one.
ATM it's winter bargine hunting time and we will see cheap cars in all makes, it's nothing new.
Sought after. It's sought after.

In which case we'll no doubt see it again very soon at about £85k. This post does not need a response (911R).

Oh dear I have done 9,000 miles in mine now. Since March and with 3 months off driving. Thats nearly 2000 miles a month when I've been using it.

It's going to be worthless but hey ho - I bought it to enjoy. And I do.
9k miles? A wanton act of vandalism! Unbelievable; having the temerity to actually drive the thing...

Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling. It's a "specific learning difficulty", which means it causes problems with certain abilities used for learning, such as reading and writing. Unlike a learning disability, intelligence isn't affected.

While I can read ok, my spelling is utter st lol I edit most posts 3 or 4 times after reading it back getting many letters back to front, it can be fustrating :-)
Been here 15 years used to being picked up on it by newer members.

I have many friends who suffer with dyslexia, but none of them behave like you do on a forum. And 'lol' is not a form of punctuation, it's a teenage affliction. So you either started on here very early or you like to think you're significantly younger than you are.

As the post above clearly shows Demon is not the only member with poor spelling skillslaugh
In all honesty how much of this is a simple case of overexuberant typing skills which by all accounts is a skill perfected by our female counterparts. This is especially galling for myself as english is my second language after welsh.
However this afternoon i just wish the welsh could have translated their obviously higher intelligence into their rugby skills judging from our lacklustre performance against Australiamad

Do you know anyone competent with a computer or vaguely proficient in IT who could help you with a spell checker on your browser? smile
Please stop it.

This is a forum about GT4s.

Thank you.

Is it me or do GT4 owners seem to be suffering from short man syndrome? You never get this sort of infighting in the GT3 threads or is it because, cant afford 911?

I think the Gt3 thread is/was very similar .... CS vs no CS / sports seats vs buckets / carbon vs no carbon / PCCB vs steel and the endless discussions about stitching colours ..... Pick your spec from the above and then every other car is pretty much worthless / needs to trade at discount blah blah. The GT3 thread also had the ocassional comparison to predecessors, which added another angle to it for people who do not have one.

People always get up tight when they are losing money!

Let's try and get this thread back on track....Just to remind people it's was originally about the number of gt4 cars for sale.

And your final comment isn't as petty as some of these idiots? rolleyes

I'm still dubious that red GT4 sold for £73k; I can understand to a point getting your monies worth out of it by driving and selling for what you paid, but in a market where £10k overs are still achievable in quick time, not even someone with money would turn down that opportunity, especially as OPC's are still offering £78-£80k on similar spec cars if you simply take 5 minutes to call! Sure the buying dealer are delighted.

Anyway, it is sold now, more panic sellers to come this winter.

The 991 GT3 thread was far 'worse'..... a scream and far more entertaining from memory.......great read if you have the time. Handbags at dawn!

Then came the predictions of a price collapse to well under list after the engine saga, 'armchair experts' attempting to talk down prices with no intentions of buying one anyway, many were flipped at stupid money then the prices softened but rose again and now with even early cars still retailing at good premiums.

This is correct. I have been offered £82k out of the blue by 3 different OPCs wanting to buy mine....red 2.5 k miles slightly higher spec than the one that apparantly sold.

Low miles but with respect they are only interested in SOR presently as i have found out, so maybe its 'circa 82' which means in reality 75. Maybe come march its off to the races again hopefully
