It hasn't got carbon trim! Worthless!

Low miles but with respect they are only interested in SOR presently as i have found out, so maybe its 'circa 82' which means in reality 75. Maybe come march its off to the races again hopefully
No, these offers are to purchase outright, not SOR.

Dealers won't be paying 82 anymore with that car selling at 73.
That's set the benchmark

Having just gone through this the OPC's i spoke to said they arnt offering figures starting with an 8 at the moment because the risk of the car sitting on the forecourt for 6 months is too high, they all said they would prefer SOR or would offer mid 7's to buy outright.

what car ? :-)

why are people so clueless ?

what is the cheapest car sub 3k miles with buckets, PCM and leather atm ?

the issue with outright OPC buys is they want to make £10k I am not sure what trade OPC price has to do with any thing.

Most OPC's won't be able to own a car for six months. The big dealer groups generally have a 90 day stock policy so if they buy a car now and it doesn't sell they'll be forced to trade it in early Feb. Porsche GB might be different but say all the Sytner owned OPC's will probably have that policy.

1 apparant private probable distress sale doth not a market price make. Unless you know the actual car there could also clearly be many reasons why it was too cheap.....exclusive of VAT, accident damage, desperate for cash etc etc.

OPCs and quality independents sell at up to £12k over private sales at this price mainly for the obvious reason not everyone is comfortable buying privately.

The offer of £82k for mine was to purchase outright btw. This figure will increase into next year as the main buying season takes off, flippers will largely have offloaded and the supply of genuine 1 owner good mileage and specced cars diminishes.

Happened with 991 GT3 and the GT4 will be no different.

+1

There are just too many forces that will keep prices strong ATM. Not least, most cars are owned by people who don't *need* to sell and can afford to be patient into next year.

However, if you need/want to sell now then you need a competitve price and probably need to be on here 'selling' it for good measure.

Agreed, I regrettably don't have the time available at the moment to enjoy mine (personal circumstances previously explained), but I certainly wouldn't consider selling into the winter months expecting a tidy return;, that is for those who need to sell. It would need to be an offer around £90k for me to even consider it (on a car specced with nav, buckets, leather, phone etc), but in the meantime, it is now in winter storage along side company such as a 918, Enzo, Daytona, DB5 etc.

I thought about selling mine, but the issue is what to buy even at £90k new or close to new which is fun !

I cannot think of any new car I want, ECOTY was crap this year, 6 cars you cannot buy and only one NA manual car in the test ! which is £500k on the 2nd hand market !

GT4 still looks bloody cheap when you look at 997 GT3 prices and cars that old up at £90k and lets face it 60% are tatty now and 30k miles.

570S seems the best new car on the market which you can order but they are £180k, turbo and auto.
R8 again a nice buy with a NA V10 but they are £130k and automatic.

And it looks like no manual future GT3, so that makes the GT4 a car you may as well keep and use.

I love changing cars, but there are no cars to change into !!!

At £50k the Cayman R still runs rings round any other sports car at that price, so that's another keeper.

Evora 410 Sport might be a nice drive but it's a very old car, an even older engine and will drop £30k in 12 months !
plus would any GT4 owner really swap to Lotus build issues !!! nope !

drop a light weight flywheel into a GT4 and give it the 425 BHP as shown and it's pretty much a perfect car at any price
and lighter than the 911R !

they have pretty much sorted the GT4 engine maps now to be perfect, what a great dyno imo

This is something i've been looking into and have had two quotes from Parr motorsport and Litchfield, both imo highly reputable. The only thing stopping me doing it immediately is how long i will end up keeping my Gt4.I hinted to my OPC i might p/x my GT4 for a new 991.2 but they were not exactly chomping at the bit for my GT4 as they have five in the showroom incl 3 SOR's.Also my sales guy insinuated that my warranty would be on thin ice if i tuned my GT4 and i'm also hoping for a manual 991.2 GT3 next year.
With regards to the dyno graph as my german is poor can you explain the 354.4 PS figure and the 443PS.Your comment regards no future manual Gt3,is this based on reliable inside info or pure speculation.
