Yes you did and a number of others picked up on it, but you refused to substantiate your claim; or are you back tracking now?

So I assume you are planning on offering up your GT4 at list as part exchange on a GT3, paying a difference of circa £50k, to then sell for a £30k premium?
people picked up on a comment I made yes, but my comments are not FACT like people want to think they are lol hence I cannot "substantiate my post"Porsche911R/Demon said: "And it looks like no manual future GT3, so that makes the GT4 a car you may as well keep and use."

I said Trump would win and no one else did, and he did by miles, I said we would leave the EU and no one else did business/poll wise.
As for what I do with my cars, one cannot say (I don't even know yet) Porsche are good at saying one thing and doing another.
I am a car lover not an investor , atm it's saving me £1000's of pounds having free cars to use it's a win win.

I agree, I'd buy a much rarer 991 GTS instead!Joking aside, I do agree though that we should drive these lovely things instead of debating their value even though i do find it very interesting, probably more so now that i am out of it.
I've already done 1200 miles in my GTS and I've only had it 3 weeks! Its currently sitting outside completely filthy and covered in road grime - oh and its not been wrapped either!
The GT4 market was totally fuelled by speculators and still is although there is less to be made now as there are so many advertised very few will go for the asking price and taking into account the commission there can't be more than a few grand profit in one so is it really worth the effort? I am sure Porsche will be looking at the 50 or so cars on PH for sale thinking that they can't let this happen again. The GT4 was so accessible to far more people due to it being more affordable.
Next time i am sure Porsche will limit numbers, they have to as this situation with the amount of cars for sale can't be good for them? They listened to all those saying that they were annoyed that they didn't get an allocation so they allotted more to the UK and then look what happened, everyone wanted to capitalise. If I were Porsche, I would limit supply more strictly for the next GT4 - oh and btw, I want one!

lol it has nothing to do with polls or media bullst, who do you think put Trump there ? it was a given he was getting in, and it was a bigger win than expected as every one said he would loose ! but that's for another thread :-) no such thing as luck.218 vs 278 so far the map looks quite red to me.

So what you said was pure fabrication based on nothing, just to get a response? I doubt anyone takes anything you say as FACT, quite the opposite.Porsche911R said:

Clinton actually got more votes 59,166,045 v 59.029,912 at latest count. Could not have been tighter. Voting system meant Trump secured more seats but as close as an American election has been. It was most certainly never "a given" that he was going to win. Upside is my brother made a fortune on 25:1 bet at the outset of his campaign.218 vs 278 so far the map looks quite red to me.
Now back to Porsches...

996 GT3 would get my vote every day.

but there are no cars to change into !!!
At £50k the Cayman R still runs rings round any other sports car at that price, so that's another keeper.
There you go Demon, you should buy a 996 Gt3, just think of the refresh you could give it with the overs youd make on the sale of the GT4, the suspension you can get, the proper links to motorsport heritage etc.At £50k the Cayman R still runs rings round any other sports car at that price, so that's another keeper.

February announcement with March (Geneva) launch. No confirmation that it will be manual (although likely), and there is also the launch of the GT2 RS that nobody seems to mention.
GT2 is to be announced in August September I believe, Yes GT3 will be Feb announce and Geneva launch like GT4 was...Porsche911R said:
you should have bought it imo ;-) as I can see no cars below list price for sale, in fact most are >10k over list, it would have been a good buy.
Looks like you missed out on that one !
Cheapest car with buckets is now £89.5k
Cheapest car with the main 4, buckets, leather, PCM and carbon is £93k
looks like ave price now is higher for nicer spec car.
That's not talking prices up or down, just posting what's available.
why would some one sell a GT4 £16k below what any other car is for sale for ? I guess if he got his money back, he is happy.
Errrr that'll be why its still up for sale bozo !Looks like you missed out on that one !

FWIW close pal of mine today sold GT4 with 918 buckets, 6,700 miles, PCM, carbon pack and extra alcantara for 74k to private buyer. Had used it on track but replaced all four tyres prior to sale
I'm very disappointed that this has been up for over an hour without someone questioning your honesty or suggesting your close friend is obviously in financial distress and his car has crash damage, a dodgy history and the Ebola virus. There must be something good on TV.
Cars sell for whatever they are worth at the time , no idea why people like you get so hot under the collar about it . Scared of losing money perhaps ? It's a car FFS!
Perhaps you actually think cars can catch the Ebola virus? I did not think it was possible to take this post seriously.
It's a joke (FFS, if that helps you get the point)

I was making fun of the knee jerk defence mechanism that has actually now kicked in and wondering where the defenders of GT4 values had got to.

Pete with apologies i replied to you post with this by mistake. It should have been a reply to another post questioning the honesty of the car details i listed. Perhaps you actually think cars can catch the Ebola virus? I did not think it was possible to take this post seriously.

Sorry once again
