VTS added a lot and also paint , I though GT Silver was only £558 because that's all it is now on a new Cayman !

good to see why it was or was not really a true £79k car. And is a £77k car.
I added up in my mind it was £76k but was out on the GT silver !
Are you having a laugh they just added up the invoice and it was over £79k

People are quick enough to attack other if they say cars are sellling in the £70s stop trying to make this car look like it was a cheaper spec car.

This car has been on and off sale for ever, if it has been sold back to the dealer they wouldn't take the risk without bagging at least 10k to 15k profit to cover risk factors.

Fingers crossed for a PDK only GT3 in 2017 eh!!!

But I think with people kicking off saying "it doesn't feel like a drivers car anymore" it will probably come with a manual option.

991.2 GT3 will be available both PDK S and 'manuel' with anticipated sales 50:50. Question is, will
PDK S be a no cost option.

Good luck getting one though.

Yes each to their own but having the standard platinum stitching with GT silver, white or red definitely looks insipid and red is the better choice although platinum is ok with black Sapphire blue or Agate grey.
Platinum stitching with Sapphire Blue here

Was only a matter of time. Personal opinion of course, some like the red/yellow stitching. I just felt it would date quickly and looking at it now, I think it has.

It's all part of an era . Back in 2004 I longed for an artic silver 9964S but now the colour bores me. They may be coming back in vogue now though

Be good to see breakdown for £79k as GT silver is only £800 extra I cannot see how they get to >£79k

I wonder what was added on the org invoice, of course the stickers, but this could include GAP, paint protection, £500 car tax etc etc.

I cannot get to £79k just for the car alone.
You're wrong David, Gt silver along with Carmine red were originally £1500+ extra on the GT4!.
Sorry Dave, just noticed your post, you've beaten me to the punch yet again!.

Leicester cars been up for a while, but has a price drop from £90k and 2 owners !

see your chart on page 209 for the org car

not sure I would want to be a 3rd owner and selling to a 4th owner on a car not 12 months old yet.

But a nice car if one wants CS pack, looking at cars sold, CS seems a hard sell though, and more a forum wanabe want than what real buyers are buying ;-)

1 CS car sold vs 8 normal cars

nicest car for sale atm now is the £98k GT silver Silverstone car. IMHO :-)
Although you would also have to be the 3rd owner on that one also !!!

It also seems that the more expensive cars have PCCB's and buckets are not a 'must have' option for premium priced cars if the rest of the spec is high.

You need to read people's posts accurately before jumping to a response.

The top three (price) selling cars all have PCCB's, this is what you like to call 'A FACT'.

And two of the the top four priced cars currently still for sale (according to mdianuk's OPC table) have sports seat's not buckets. Another FACT.

what matters is sold cars, those you list might never sell ! again this list is great to show real facts . not forum rubbish being spouted.

you stated they don't need buckets, and my answer was the top 7 selling cars all have them.

It's very simple to see.
I am only interested in what's selling my self, because that is showing what REAL buyers are wanting.

Where did you get this information from?
Although he has been known to be slightly amiss with facts on more than one occasion before, the great marketing man himself, A Preuninger, confirmed earlier this year that the 'manuel' box from the 911 R would be available as an option in the 991.2 GT3 as reported by Auto Express on the 1.3.16 and confirmed by Autocar on the 14.7.16. Also confirmed by several DPs.

Also seems the obvious way to progress for the next GT3 having regard to the success of the GT4. Who knows, Porsche may even charge for the 'priviledge' of the 'manuel' box. And why not.

Do you agree that the top three selling cars all have PCCB's?

And do you agree that the two of the top four priced cars still for sale have sports seats rather than buckets?

That's all I was stating. i.e. OPC's are not marketing their stock at lower price if the car has sports seats - so long as the rest of the spec is high.

Shame there aren't more cars with PTS. Riviera really suited the car at Cardiff.

PTS makes such a difference. I'm liking the idea of Gulf if I ever get the opportunity again.
