I really like Yellow with Plat Wheels......one of my top colours, then Red and blue.
Yup me too, but I added the PCCBs - colour coordination, plus added driving feel - win-win! smile

Here is mine in the peak district the day after I collected it last March.

It might be up for sale rather soon too - but then you already know that... tongue out

The launch car at Silverstone made up my choice on the wheels and yellow.

Plus I have big posters of my car for the man cave, not sure how that cannot work.
I was very limited in choice due to NO buckets and no colours !! I put buckets above colour so my choice was very small.
Carmine red was my 1st choice, and was not allowed at the time, then GT silver.
I did have a PTS colour but that also was canceled, and after seeing it, it was me who canceled that one lol, but again I was not allowed to change the PTS colour unless I forgo buckets, so never an option.

GT4 looks great in most colours anyway.

Its a reall shame that you didn't get Carmine. I don't really like Carmine but its a damn sight better than yellow with platinum and red brakes.

That looks fantastic Adam. The PCCB's are a must have with a yellow car. Demons car look absolutely ste compared to yours! What a difference some brakes make!

Unsure about Carmine.....more a 991 GTS colour. Bit drab for the GT4 imo.

Can't remember how much it cost as an extra but if it was the same as GT silver (£2800)?on the GT3 it is too expensive imo. May as well go 'proper' pts.

Its not for me either. Its classy on the 991 GTS but to on a GT4. I like the yellow but not with red brakes and platinum wheels.

I think the GT4 is one of those cars that can carry almost any colour well.

However, it does need the right complimentary colour for the wheels. And, yes, the yellow pccb callipers are always a nice touch.

Mine is guards with platinum wheels and Pccbs and i love it, carmine classy but definitely not a motorsport Porsche colour and a rip off price. When i specced mine went from the blues and initially settled on black but last minute switched to guards for practicality reasons.I saw a black Gt4 in Cardiff Opc last weekend and looked stunning but in real life a bh to maintain.
However i agree with Demon in that the Gt4 is not particularly colour sensitive and purely down to personal taste. If i'm lucky to get a 991.2GT3 the only metallic colour i would consider would be Gt silver, classy, timeless and a safe motorsport colour.

colours a personal choice, if he thinks it looks st, he can say so.
Big reds have always been on Porkers, it's a classic look on any colour car.

I'm not just saying this but I think yellow with platinum wheels and red brakes doesn't work at all.

+1

The theme is with the first 2 cars. The last car is a bit of a f£&# up.

I'll keep what I have, that is the best thing about buying new, you can order what you like.

There are some shocking looking colour combo's cars posted, but if people ordered them they must like them.
It's then down to the forum posters if ones calls it st or keeps stum I guess.

That's the freedom we all have.

Silver wheels look good on the yellow. Red or yellow brake calipers also look ok.

Imo silver wheels look too basic especially with lighter colours which look insipid and bland.

A long established OPC buyer told me recently he always down values modern GT Porsches with silver wheels.

On the red and yellow combination, contrast works.....red calipers on a yellow car looks fine as do yellow calipers on a red car......and really no different to the numerous red 458s with yellow calipers and the essential yellow shields.

Few added back on that were removed on Friday. Annoying when the OPC's do that to make revisions. I might reduce the number of checks I do to avoid wasted time.
