Clearly at £81k way too cheap. Well behind trade in fact.
Interesting reasoning. Why would the owner be looking for list privately other than trade bids being worse?
Breadvan and GT4P have already both correctly confirmed the car would be c £95k at an OPC. This is further confirmed by simply looking at the list of recent sales. If an OPC sells a GT4 for £95k, their trade bid would be between £85k and £90k clearly dependent upon how desperate they are for the car, spec and whether they have a buyer lined up.

The speed at which it sold is also a clue it was too cheap.

And as GT4P correctly points out, we don't know the actual final sale price. Kudos to the seller ambiguously referring to £81k....rather like a reserve price set deliberately low at auction simply to drum up interest......meaningless and having no bearing on the actual final sale price.

Yep, and wait until the near Spring buying frenzy.

Had to happen.

A repeat of the 991 GT3 demand/supply story.

Mine will going in the next few months ,struggling to think of replacement, but I can't unfortunately drive manuals any more.
I have stubbornly bought manuals over the years ,but currently have huge issues with my left side which leaves me in pain for a few days every time I drive a car with a clutch .
Gutted because it's perfect for the roads where I live, and I never gel with flappy paddles .

Sorry to hear that, franki. If you still have it in May, bring it to Prescott for a farewell meet?

Do you have a reasonable prospect of securing a 991.2 GT3?

Can't see why that would be any different - you don't have to use flappy paddles with pdk. While in some ways it's more inconvenient using the gear "lever", it might feel more involving - certainly has a more solid feel to it.

I utterly hated smg on the m6,but an aston v12s is an option that is being considered. The ferrari is pretty ugly and I have never liked any ferrari's steering to be honest.

I was prepared to pay 80 large for it, not that he'd agree. It's taken the dilemma out of my hands now.

Yep, next daily will definitely be a Cayman, but I was toying with pushing the envelope to the GT4.

For half the price, you should look at a Cayman R. You won't be disappointed. Love mine. smile

How does anyone know what it went for ! The way I read it was it cost £81k new and was looking for offers! Most likely sold for above trade offers!
I know as I've bought it!
And for clarity it was never an £81k car, list was £83,500 and its got a GT04 plate that had to purchased with the car.
The owner was inundated with enquiries and fortunately for me we agreed a deal that both parties were happy with and a deposit was paid last night.

Will post pics up when I collect it early next week!

...but not before you let me see it in the flesh. You are going to love it Chris, just a shame you can't make the RS day tongue out

Two GT4's within a couple of miles of each other; common as muck!
