Do others turn up who are not going on track as may bring up the GT4 anyway.
There's usually as much interesting stuff in the paddock as there is on track. Get yourself along and say hello, I will be in the red GT4, probably surrounded by white Cayman Rs! You can get a £10 wristband and plenty of passenger laps as most of us are happy to take others out.

I'm in the market for a GT4, would consider any spec so long as it had buckets and was a sensible price. Do you think these prices are what people are paying or can one expect any discount on these? I'm assuming not, especially as this would be my first Porsche.

I'm in love with the blue Portsmouth one (my local OPC) but £97k just seems like madness despite it being very high spec. It also has more mileage than most.

Seems to be less of these about now. Thought there would be more especially around winter. I saw a lovely Saphire blue one around Berk Square in Mayfair yesterday, anyone on here. Weirdly it was the first one I have seen in central London in about 2 months and if there is anywhere you always see rare cars its Mayfair/Knightsbridge.

That one does seem pricey with that sort of mileage there are cheaper ones with no ceramics but lower mileage!
Expect to pay £85k plus for low miles and buckets but as Spring approaches prices will firm up so now is the time to buy to get a deal .

I wouldn't let the mileage put you off. These cars are all about the drive and it still has a way to go until it is fully opened up.

I just bought the yellow 16k miler from Portsmouth and it is fantastic. Happy to take you out for a blast if you haven't experienced a GT4 properly yet.

They are fantastic cars and the blue one is top spec too - might seem a lot but there isn't much else out there that is a better option price wise and I personally would go for higher spec over cheap spec - it helps you feel like you have value in what you have paid for. That car has also been PPF'd which will prevent most stone chips.

The sales staff are top notch at Portsmouth too - no pressure sales at all.

Mind you, you'll have to be quick as it is out on a test drive at the moment.

That would be great thanks! Will drop you a pm. Although completely different cars I'm interested to see how the torque delivery compares to my A45 which has similar power at 380bhp.

Just purely out of interest I have put my car a few times over the last year into wbac and trade values have jumped £16k plus since mid December! So IMHO prices are as strong as ever if a little off there highs of a year ago!

It will be very different - it pulls strong from about 4K rpm but you need to be in the right gear. I would think the A45 might be faster on a cross country B road blast, but wouldn't be able to keep up on track.

As for my experience the list price of my gt4 ie what I paid for it was stable at £15k over list with wbac in March and September last year which is when I went into there website. Come early December when I revisited prices had dropped dramatically under list which coincided with low trade offers people were reporting but I went in again last night and prices have recovered to over what I paid list but still well under the £15k premium of last September but it is still only January!
List price is the original value of the car from new. If you count list price as the premium price you paid second hand, then it cannot have been £15k over "list" price, nor have prices dropped below list (original value from new) at any point. I'm as confused as the rest, no idea where you have suddenly found £16k increase from, they never dropped or bounced by that percentage but again, it depends what you class as "list".

List is what I paid with extras ie £72k. The price I got from wbac in December was some way below this and the list price of £65k no options! So unless there was an anomaly in there system the price rose from the December low to now of £16k!
These are trade prices and not retail so yes prices 'trade' have dropped below list at some stage!

The trade price I got from WBAC yesterday for a GT4 was £66k - slightly above the list price with no options.
I wouldn't take any notice whatsoever of :stty: WBAC prices for cars like the GT4...they are irrelevant and only a GUIDE for what you may or may not receive. Owned by BCA who then pump their auctions full of mainly humdrum cars, they are one of the profitable 'cartels' in business the backbone of which is really based on mainstream stuff anyway.

Nope, if you want to get an accurate trade bid price on the GT4, simply look at MDs enlightening and comprehensive retail list and work backwards to obtain trade.

The fact of the matter is and to be expected trade prices fell of a cliff end of last year but have now recovered! As for wbac family relatives have always received the figures quoted ie bmw m3, R R evoque, mb convertible so not run of the mill cars!

This is not enlightening although I am not insulting mds work these are just retail prices of opc do not include private retailers and not a true indication of market value and what you might get trade!

I wouldn't pay much notice to the drop, it is only nature that dealers close their books on purchasing cars until the new financial year, especially when they have targets to reach to gain perks, commissions etc.

Just work on the basis of current retail values (those selling), and deduct around £5k if they are an independent dealer, or around 8-10% if they are an OPC.

Mdian with the greatest of respect to you I am not that niave and any prices quoted end of year are to be ignored but they are still there if you trying to sell at that point that is why i pointed out its a good time to buy not to sell

Have done likewise out of respect but I will still post on the Gts site and if it's a car with a price it's not about values but purely directing someone to a reasonably priced car !

You cannot work off their prices, I put my gallardo and dbs into their system and the prices they came back with were 12000 less than I sold either for to trade .
