I thought the 18 ways were free? I spec'd Club sport on mine so can't be sure but i can't seem to recall it being a cost option?

I may be wrong?

No, 2 way sports seats plus were free.

I am also after a UK copy of the original hard back sales brochure to accompany my car. I asked my dealer but they didn't have any left by the time I got my car. If anybody has one spare or knows were to find one I'd be pleased to know. Charitable donation, expected.

No, 2 way sports seats plus were free.

People often confuse comfort chairs with the 18 ways which were the cost option. 18 ways have much more adjustment than the standard chairs and of course heating is available.

Im also after one, but I was under the impression they didn't exist when I asked! Makes you wonder who actually got one if original owners were not supplied with one

OPCs had them to anyone who asked for them at the time. They weren't part of the package that came with the car, they were just promotional material.

When I went to see the gt4 and 3rs at silverstone launch event in June 15 there were pile of gt4/gt3rs hardback brochures to take. So I suppose once it got round to the main deliveries by the end of year they had all gone.

18 Way electric seats come with memory and comfort entry. When you take the key out the seat goes back and the steering wheel rises automatically to aid exit/entry.

Having had 18 ways and buckets I can vouch that 18's are much easier to get into and out of but I'm totally sold on buckets in sports cars until I'm too old and decrepit to get out of them.

They were freely available - got one at depositor's evening at Silverstone and dealer gave me a copy. ebay or get hold of Porsche in Reading, if you're an original owner, sure they could find one for you.

Do they, even on the GT4? As far as I can tell on my 18 way seats in my GT4 there is no position memory. Or comfort entry? No even sure that comfort entry was an option?

The 18 way seats are superb though.

Maybe not. They did on my Cayman S. I think it was part of the "memory" do you have the buttons on the door to store the memory positions?

Nope, no memory buttons in the Gt4. And no comfort access. Neither are GT4 type options I guess but memory is useful as it no only allows for multiple drivers but on other cars, I like to set a relaxed driving position and then a more aggressive position.
