12 GT4's for sale on PistonHeads and growing

Down to 14 cars at opc and only 30 cars on piston ads now some of which are opc cars

You are right, 5 presumably sold (Leicester, Cardiff, Portsmouth, Brooklands and Solihull), and 1 added (Nottingham). I know we cannot assume all sold, but 44 since November removed from the OPC network is impressive volume and I know quite a few guys that have been snapping these up in recent months. That is some turnover of cars and we are now back up to £88,500 cheapest!

I'm a bit surprised there's only two PTS cars in the table.

I know it wasn't available to order for very long during the production run and I accept it makes no difference to the way it drives but 2 out of 44 sold or double that for sale seems low.

It's one of the favourite things I like about mine.

For the first time (?) no OPC cars for sale below 1000 miles on the clock

I suggest that most PTS owners purchased their cars for the right reasons... So they still own them, still enjoy them and didn't flip for a fast £££ profit. Maybe in future OPC's should prioritise GT cars to owners prepared to choose PTS colours...

I think you're right. PTS is something that probably won't increase the resale value of the car (certainly not as much as it costs) so a flipper would be silly to specify it.

Some did, I recall the Viper Green GT4 ordered from OPC Chester than was almost immediately back in there for sale at a huge premium. Took absolutely ages to sell and then I believe it made its way to an independent dealer.

Don't forget that as well as the PTS window being small, it was probably a slim number of people who actually took up the option as most average (i.e. non-PH) buyers probably just went with a standard colour.

The summary page of The Rennteam GT4 register shows that out of over 2300 NA cars recorded only 1.8% are PTS, so even lower than 2 out of 44 (4.5%)!

Yes I thought the GT4 sounded pretty good, but THAT one next to it takes the sound to a whole different level !!
