Only if it had buckets. Do we think they will get to high 80K Mark with more milage on them?

As I missed out at the time I had been waiting for a nice spec car in the mid 80"s but finally bit the bullet in the low 90's with next to no mileage and picking up next week. I took the view I was better off paying an extra £4K for a virtually new car.

Anyone know what the list price of the Wolverhampton 89K car would have been?

It has, PCM, 918 Buckets, DAB, SPP, Black wheels, black wing supports and Cruise control.

Based on that spec being similar to mine, and without pricing up specifically, I would say it was a £74-£75k car from new. The paint protection film is a nice bonus, providing it doesn't make the car look yellow, as film quite often does on white cars.

Well done on getting the thread back on point and it's clear to see cars are still trading.

As a gt4 owner I am not worried about the gt3 (I have my order in) as this is a completely different price point. Everyone I have spoken too,is getting to a spec price of £125k plus and with out question judging by the moaning going on about not getting an order slot and potentially 8 enquiries to every available car these will trade at a premium as well once they are available. so even if we say it's only £10k premium then that's a good £40k over the current gt4 market.

Regarding the PPF if it's one of the new films from xpel or suntec don't worry about yellowing, these all have warrenties so if that does happen you can just get it replaced. The new films are also vastly superior to what was being used just a few years ago.

Av185 - I agree with you i was just addressing the point about gt3 values affecting gt4 values, I was just being very cautious So we did not then have the usual band moaning about premiums etc and even there I just can't see how it will affect the gt4 values materially as we are talking a near 50% premium over the gt4.

Lots of movement for a single weekend again, 4 removed (Bristol, Chester, Sutton Coldfield, Aberdeen), sold or otherwise, and 3 added (Hatfield, Edinburgh, Portsmouth). Prices appear to be creeping up, and any that do appear under £85k are lasting just days.

No, I think we'll continue to see similar numbers throughout Spring and Summer, at this kind of price point, as there will be buyers (that miss out on the GT3), but equally some GT4's coming through where owners have agreed to sell back to the OPC for a GT3 slot. The OPC's won't want to miss an opportunity to sell in the peak months, rather than receive in September onwards.

Good point. None the less, trading of a more conventional type, rather than flipping. Which is much better for the market, buyers and sellers.

I guess the question is when is a sale considered to not be 'flipping' any longer. After a certain period of time, mileage, or by not profiting at all?

Tricky. Mileage and time I guess. Most cars are now at least 6 months old and have at least a few good miles on them, so guess its fair to assume we are nearing the end of the flipping saga.

So AP says that there is no GT4RS in the works and definitely don't expect to see one in 2018. Shame if true but probably wouldn't be able to get one anyway so all moot.

Yep, he said it was something "they could think about" (because the demand is high), "but it is not a decided project yet", "so don't expect it to appear next year or something like that". All down to no capacity for more projects at the moment.
