Thats nothing.

There was a late 991.1 GT3 clubsport in 2016 in yellow with 500ish miles and 4 owners....struggled to sell though at various OPCs.

I would not buy a new car with 2 or more owners, it just means no one is running the car in right or even cares.
Loads of cars for sale with 1 org owner who you can chat too and meet, so why buy a car with more ?

So it's just not worth the hassle imo because people will think the car has issues and in most cases cars moved on that quick do have issues ! and while one might be ok buying a car now with 3 owners with no miles, it's always going to have a cloud over it going forward with 4 owners in 12 months.

While I agree with the number of owners implying the car has a problem, anyone with a interest and a little knowledge of Porsche GT products will be aware of the flipping and overs situation. This will put a perspective to the situation and with a little caution and buying from a respectable dealer should ensure a genuine enthusiast is okay.
I got the OPC to go through its history with me hours run, revs etc and mine seemed fine.
However I have got a couple of problems that the OPC need to sort, brakes binding slightly, and a slight mechanical noise when under load but I'm sure these will be sorted and are due to a car standing for 12 months.

Absolutely agree. If owners are trying the car in their ownership, they won't observe run in guidelines. More owners exacerbates the problem in my view.

I agree would always buy a one owner car that's for sale privately than a multi owner car that's in a dealer and save a few quid in the process but that is not to say a 2 owner low miles new car (under 12 months old )is a bad car but a 3/4 owner is pushing it

I just would not buy any multi owner car ! . I would even only buy a 1/2 owner car may be 3 at a push if it's a GT/ Turbo product that's 5 years old and avoid something with 4+owners doesn't mean those cars are dogs though it's just my preference!

Actually there are very few gt4 with multi owners(more than one) the gt3/RS holds that title so must be unreliable, oh I forgot they are not only on fourth owner but fourth engine lol;)

My wife's GT4 now on 2900 miles and the engine feels so much keener to pull now. Lovely car, little rocket ship. Jumped in it straight after driving my 996RS today and really enjoyed it.

Mine has just passed 3000m and i've also noticed it's a lot freer revving now especially if you stick with 99octane as i do which makes a difference...A true future classic and i'll be sorry to see it go when i might have to chop it in for the new 991.2GT3 later this year..
