yes the blue one in bolton is fantastic value ,and the owner is a thoroughly nice guy who looks after his cars extremely well smile
I am sure it will sell quickly!
It will ,as soon as they do their 118 point inspection so they can do test drives .

I test drove a GT4 last weekend and was suitably impressed. With any luck I might be joining the GT4 gang very soon smile

I'm keen to get something with pretty much every optional extra in the right colour and can't see anything out there at the moment. (Blue, grey or red with Buckets, carbon interior, clubsport pack, sport chrono, grey wheels, contrasting stitching, phone, satnav are all a must)

I've seen 2 types of buckets - the 918 buckets and the folding buckets - I'm guessing these recline? In terms of desirability, is one type of bucket more desirable than the other? I've searched the web and not found a definitive answer.

As for brakes, do I need carbon ceramics for resale? I've always found them too "grabby" for road use, although the lack of brake dust would be a bonus.

I don't suppose any knows of any Voodoo blue cars coming up for sale anytime soon? scratchchin

Any advise or pointers for cars that haven't gone up for sale yet gratefully appreciated.

This the exact spec I was looking for too. Been looking since December and finally found it last week - in Germany - and bought it within hours of being listed. In blue. Good luck with your search, be patient, and one will come along.

As for your questions: I prefer the 918 buckets; I don't like the ceramics for road use.

Separate question - anyone know how many GT4s were made worldwide in the end? Can't seem to find out from google.

I could be wrong but I've read 2500 made worldwide.

With 600 in the UK alone that sounds a little low?

Great price and spec - but black is such a difficult colour to live with. It looks great when clean and freshly detailed but shows every spec of dust and swirl mark frown

I ended up going for a white one on the basis that i've had variations of black over the last 4 years and i fancied a change but i'd found a weekly wash was fine and done properly you won't get any swirlies whistle

I've always been dismissive of Porsches attempts to con buyers into thinking models like the GT4 are light by omitting aircon and radio and fitting a small tank. And then making them free options.

I wonder if any of the cars sold actually had no aircon or radio.

The yellow car at Guildford is very nice. On Saturday it was sitting in the showroom next to a Guards Red Boxster Spyder, and so provided a good opportunity to compare and contrast

And the market is not all 911s. Caymans are doing well, especially Cayman GTS with the right spec. GT4 is a little harder to move as there are simply so many cars on the market and many are well and truly overpriced. There are no buyers out there for overpriced GT4s and there have not been for many months. Our superb Cayman GT4 with less than 500 miles from new is priced almost £20,000 cheaper than the most expensive GT4 currently for sale - it is time for other sellers to have a good look at their prices and bring some energy back to this corner.

The fine weather has brought Boxster into sharper focus and we have sold a number of very nice Boxsters so far this year, including a selection of beautiful Spyders. Spyder is a good seller but only when presented with the right specification. These cars are super sensitive to spec, so it is important to be aware of what fits best. When it comes to Boxster Spyder, bucket seats are an important part of this formula.

It is the 1st time I've heard them talk down the pricing of a car .

And sensible words on seats ( although I know many still disagree )

GTS are not selling there are 14 on the OPC site ATM, while OPC seem to be selling GT4 ok.

They would say the GTS are great , one has just arrived in stock lol.

what they should be saying is 997 Gen II GT3 RS seem to have stopped selling altogether and need a £20k price correction.

I also think Black cars have had their day and are poor sellers.

A sales spin on the current situation at best. "£20,000 cheaper than the most expensive GT4 currently for sale" is a hilarious line, love it. They might be struggling to sell, but with 70 OPC sales since November, that suggests the GT4 is far from struggling to move. If they can't sell theirs, then they need to think about their price, not what others are doing.

Not to mention the black car listed a few posts above is as much if not more than some opc cars .
Do they offer 2 year warranty ?

I had to chose who to use to sell
My car ,other opc' s and a couple of Indys wanted it ,so find it difficult to believe there is no interest .
