12 GT4's for sale on PistonHeads and growing
Discussion
JZM may want to say more about the spec than "918 Bucket Seats, Switchable Sports Exhaust and more".
The sports exhaust isn't even an option!
Sellers should know that anyone buying a GT4 needs basic information to narrow their choice of which sellers to call. And buyers will know the standard spec list ffs.
Good service starts with the advert.

Porsche buyers are so spec sensitive I am not sure how you can say a car is over or under priced....all you need is one buyer. Going back a couple of pages on this thread the OPC Silverstone GT4 was comfortably the most expensive GT4 in the OPC network but has apparently sold....and it wasn't a clubsport which some people say is needed to get top money. So despite JZM's assertations there are buyers for high priced cars out there.
What they don't tell you is that they're struggling with "classics" 964 Turbo's and the like which they're finding very hard to shift right now.
They're a great outfit but I am not sure there market report is a great idea.....if they wrote it totally impartially it would be a great marketing tool but putting a spin on it as they clearly do means it loses value.

I don't think they've had it that long...maybe a month or so. On that basis I doubt either of those have happened.
So what youre saying is, that all this 70 cars sold bullst is fake news as nobody knows what happened to the ones that disappear?I mean its not as if some of these cars dont just disappear and then reappear a few weeks later

Latest OPC network update; few more added, maybe some are trickling through as sweeteners to get a GT3.
New cars added: Portsmouth, Solihull, Glasgow, Guildford
Cars removed/sold: Tewkesbury, Silverstone
Ian, correct me if I am wrong but in all the lists that you've published in this thread, I don't think I have ever seen one for sale at Wilmslow (my local OPC). I wonder why that is?New cars added: Portsmouth, Solihull, Glasgow, Guildford
Cars removed/sold: Tewkesbury, Silverstone

My money is on them having sold it....bar Clubsport it was a really nice spec and very low mileage car. There are people that pay up for cars like that.

Where the fk did I say "all this 70 cars sold bullst is fake news" ? You speculated they'd traded it on or the owner that had placed it with them on an SOR basis had withdrawn it, All I said was they haven't had it very long so I very much doubt they've traded it on as most dealers only do that after three months and if the car was SOR I doubt a seller who has agreed a price north of £100k was expecting a quick sale...

Not advertised no, but I do recall that white one they had soon after release with low miles. Not seen many from any dealer in the Stratstone group tbh, and I know my OPC for sure has had a few they haven't advertised.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
