This is good. Speculators are complaining about dealers wanting to make a nice juicy profit! Hahaaaa!
I'm no speculator!Strangely I'm bucking the trend here because I want flappy paddles not a gear stick.

I'm surprised, i believed the GT4 (being a true GT car) was limited in numbers whereas the Spyder wasn't?
No end says who? Try ordering one at a dealer, you can't. If you can I am sure a lot of people will be on the phone tomorrow morning. They are being produced until July to fulfil current orders but no more orders are being taken. av185 said:
The GT4 is limited.....will be around 350 for UK.... slightly more than the 991 GT3.
The Spyder, whilst technically not a GT car (although not far behind the GT4) is a far more niche product than the GT4.... so very rare. Hence under 90 cars for the UK.
I think way more than 350 GT4 - agree Spyder will be 90-120 The Spyder, whilst technically not a GT car (although not far behind the GT4) is a far more niche product than the GT4.... so very rare. Hence under 90 cars for the UK.

R, some have claimed a number of OPCs are to receive up to 15 cars but I remain unconvinced.....unless anyone can specifically state which......I know for a fact that 4 are receiving between 9 and 11 max and 2 of these receive the greatest allocation as with the GT3.GT4P said:
Even if every dealer received an average of 10 cars that is circa less than 400 cars which imo is a very low number for the last of the NA mid engine 3.8 flat6 coupe!
4500-5000 cars worldwide and 350 for the UK sounds about right
That does sound reasonable - not sure about this being the last of the flat 6. 4500-5000 cars worldwide and 350 for the UK sounds about right

The buckets are very upright, some people have spent hours in them and love them but if you're used to a reclined driving position you'll probably not like them.
Personally I find them comfortable.
I also find them perfect for my body which is 5'10",very broad shoulders and a 32" waist which is a very unusual body for a 50yr old as my tailor will testify to.When my wife first and only trip in my GT4 she complained the LWBS were not upright enough for her!.Personally I find them comfortable.

Groundskeeper Willie! Hope you're enjoying the GT4?av185 said:

my OPC was also 734 Porsche Centres... 350 sounds about right..
so I like to think I am ok at maths 7x34 is 238 :-) even if 1 or 2 got 10 or that so called 15 no way are we going to see 350 cars imo.
like wise there are more than 150 Spyders coming in plus extra's so 350 GT4 and 90 Spyders spouted by PH members just sounds way off the mark to me :-)
but who cares anyway bar the guys talking what they own up. Sales and figures are so depressing, has any one changed the geo yet or put the 420BHp kit on one.
my guess and it's only that is 280 GT4 and 170 Spyders, we will know in 12 months and can revisit the thread.

I have no idea on numbers sold but the guy at Newcastle Porsche said there were far less Spyders think he mentioned that they had sold 7 Gt4's but only had 2 Spyders go out , the general impression I got speaking with over a dozen dealers was that the GT4s were deposited straight away and you had to right place right time to get one but strangely there was no where near the interest in the Spyder and was told If i had been quicker of the mark I would have easily got to order a new one .
My dealer also got 15 cars! So I believe an average of 8 to 10 cars per dealer is close ,come April when the DVLA release figures for cars registered new to the 31 December 2015 it will give some. indication of how the numbers are going being half way through production although a lot of cars arrived November and December and deliveries maybe slower, tail off this year.
The SPYDER is more like 3 cars per dealer average

OPC cars are selling very quickly.
Mine has sold 2 within days of being advertised.
Non OPC cars would appear to not move as quick. But many have sold and adverts not been taken off.
You're on the money with that. Lots of the cars in non opc ads have sold but they keep the ads running hoping to attract interest from owners looking to sell. It's hard to know what's actually available without calling up. Also some sellers have a few cars in stock but only 1 ad running. Mine has sold 2 within days of being advertised.
