having had a Caterham 300 /4 / 5 / 600 the pick of the bunch without a doubt is the R400 , in the same breath my current track/race car is a 28 year old Honda and I would jump in that any day !
after 12 years of driving them I sold my Caterhams to replace them with a track car and a Porsche as Caterham is heavily compromised as a road car and last Cat was an R500 and that was just too quick to have any fun on track so did neither job really.
620 R / S is just mental.
Jeff out of interest what 28 yr old honda do you have? I had an S2000 that I tracked once and it was great fun! Very snappy but that was part of the entertainment.after 12 years of driving them I sold my Caterhams to replace them with a track car and a Porsche as Caterham is heavily compromised as a road car and last Cat was an R500 and that was just too quick to have any fun on track so did neither job really.

They can be picked up for little money these days although i think prices are rising now...

Sold the car for a couple of grand less than I advertised, but cash buyer no messing about. No McLaren for me I'm afraid, I've got a Huracan for tooling about in.
Possibly a 991 Gt3 next but on the other hand might go and try a Caterham 620r, atom, Nissan Gtr for a while. Who knows(-:
I've had three GTR's and whilst they're a lot of fun on the road they are way too heavy on track. Possibly a 991 Gt3 next but on the other hand might go and try a Caterham 620r, atom, Nissan Gtr for a while. Who knows(-:
Funny thing, I was chatting to a colleague about a 620R yesterday. They do appeal.
Interestingly, the 620R is going in for some work next week and I'll have a 360R as a courtesy car. Looking forward to trying it out as I've got quite a hankering to build a road biased 360 in a year or so when I hopefully have the garage space. Think it would be a good pairing to own

yeh they sound well dont they, if you have 5 mins have a watch of this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXvq_AEoWNU this was when I had the old B18 C6 motor from the 1996 Integra Type fitted, big cams, throttle boddies big exhaust , 230bhp from a 1.8 revving to 9500rpm I have never heard a more aggressive V Tec crossover in my life, its sort of lost on the k20 , the R500 always had a nice bark to it also, Im a sucker for a tuned N/A car on ITB s . Just a shame they didnt stick a 4 potter in the new Porsches that had a sound track like that, I would have an order in today

Just had a look at the GT4's for sale, most of them are white!
Where are the fancy schmancy colours?
Kinda of makes sense really - white is quite probably the safest colour on a GT car for resale. It looks great and there are very few people who wouldn't want to own White, compared to any of the other colours which all tend to polarise a little more (to differing degrees).Where are the fancy schmancy colours?
So therefore White is the flippers colour of choice!

True re white, but only since the 997. I agree it's very "race car", but for a road car it's a bit fashion. You didn't see many white 964/93 RSs, nor 996s other the RS, so it was new thing for the 997 GT3. Personally, having owned white and black cars, I prefer something a bit inbetween! So therefore White is the flippers colour of choice!
