Yuk, plus 600 miles in and they can't be arsed taking some pictures of it clean!!!
I agree, very poor advert. You'd think that at 110k they would take some decent photos.

Green doesn't suit it in my opinion either...

It is not just here that the gt4 is fetching overs , I just looked on the OPC Germany site and they only have one car a gt4 first registered April last year with 7000km on the clock and is nearly 120000 euros or circa £90k+

It also appears the gt3/RS are on par with UK prices

I see OPC Leicester have another gt4 for sale it must be about their 4th or 5th car ! It seems that pretty much all their allocations have been flipped biggrin

Been thinking about this overs business and the cars for sale. I don't care about the naysayers or the ones talking the market down or the general miserable sods around. There is no way that a GT4 should be 65k list and 75k with a good spec. 10 days into ownership and at those prices the car is the bargain of the century. Go and look at what else you can buy for that money including used 911s and I promise they will not be anywhere as good as the GT4. It is an incredible package and it's an absolute event every time you drive it whether on a fantastic B road or just pootling to Waitrose. It really can be a daily with such a compliant ride for a GT car, excellent driving position, beautifully weighted steering and such an easy manual gearbox. Underpowered?? Really?? It's as fast as a 991 C2S and on UK roads that is more than fast enough. Not going to say that I would pay 20k over to buy one but that's because I'm a tight git who always wants to buy at the best price but I totally get why people are paying 95-110k for a GT4 and if the GT3 is anywhere as good then I can understand why they are going for overs as well.

The GT4 is actually as quick as a 991 Carrera GTS.

The 991 GT3 is really on a different level to the GT4.......as it should be at over 50 percent more money. The engine alone is almost worth that!

How do you know all the second hand GT4s sold by Leicester were supplied by them? Sytner, who own the OPC are one of the biggest buyers of GT Porsches in the UK.

Rather than pay overs on a GT4, better off buying a used 991 GT3.

Agreed - and will that delta remain as as the new 991.2 GT3 is announced and then the GT4 Gen 2.

I think current GT4 prices will look cheap in a couple of years. Last of the NA cars, GT badge it's all good news.

Now is the time for the Cayman R as well those that were following that thread. Solid prices now for well specced cars. I just sold one I had in but I'm looking for a lower mileage keeper. Mid 40s ok now for those.

Its not last of the na's though. Not for another generation at least.

Doubtful. I'll eat a hat if Porsche doesn't send off the 982 line with another "special" NA manual model.

718 kicks in this year though no? Second round of GT4 production already known. That doesn't leave much time to get another car out?

718 was designed to accept the old DFI flat six.

Totally, although I will say I agree about thegt4 being more than quick enough for uk roads,if you came into one from say a car with 520bhp like I did then it is lacking in straight line urge .its not that it's slow,it's what someone is used to that can lead to them describing it as lacking that department. It also feels like it could handle a lot more power easily.

I think the CR will rise and its started to rise. For those of us who can't afford 100k for GT4 and not lucky enough to get new one.
If you get in right spec aka GT4 ish
Man box.carbon buckets lightweight Spyder wheels Sport exhaust Chrono
Low mileage as you can find so its as new as it possibly can be.
Had a look lowest mileage in this are 48 k tops most just over mid 40s a few starting circa 43k
Obviously higher mileage less.
Hard to find spec as mentioned but if and when they come up they sell quicker than PDK .
So yes can see them keep on rising with current GT4 prices they are probably the next best thing as near as you will get and even if 50 k that's half price.

Will they be able to do this though? There must be some significant costs to running two very different configurations. Because they can might not mean they will.

I respectfully suggest it's better and cheaper to find a non pasm 987.2cs on 18 inch wheels than pay a premium for a CR! Which is what I would have done if I wasnt lucky enough to secure a gt4 at list!
The CR imo was more run out special like previous boxster/Cayman specials albeit a rather good one , whereas the 987 spyder is a much more special and individual car compared to the regular BoxsterS and is more likely to rise in value whereas the CR will most likely remain at its current level!
