X73 for me over PASM Amazed how many cars don't have it !!! people go for the PASM !!!
Not driven this option admittedly, but won't that just be a little too harsh for Britain's roads? Especially given most cars will be fitted with 20" rims
I'm thinking of going from 20 to 18 and this might make X73 a viable option for me. The pics of the race'y cayman 981 with 18 inch wheels sells it for me.

I paid £1700 + VAT to have PSE retrofitted to a 981 Cayman S PDK

Had my PSE retrofit at Porsche indy RPM Technik, exhaust kit plus dash switch were around £1600 + 8 hours labour - most of which was spent disassembling most of the car to get the switch wired in, along with updating the ECU and adding the exhaust module.

Still a lot cheaper than the £2990 quoted at all the Porsche dealerships I called!

Not sure how some of you have got such cheap quotes to supply and fit!

Just having the PSE retro-fitted to my new (used) purchase. Don't know how much on its own though as taken account of in the deal.

Should go nicely with the SC, PASM and PTV. smile
I am in the same boat - got quoted 2.5k for the retrofit. Would be grateful for any tips smile

Just had it fitted to my 981 Cayman 2.7 pdk. Absolutely love it - well worth the money.

I also rang round a load of OPCs. Eventually got my local to price match the best price which was just over 1700. Had a stupid range though, up to over 2500 from one place!

That seems a lot. Some of the lower prices quoted on here seem more sensible. Although I probably still would have gone for it at £2,500. It really makes the car for me. Still not bored of the sound after 3,500 miles. Although I do turn it down when getting close to home and work. It's a little shouty in polite company.

Numerous OPCs doing this for sub 2k when I rang around. As stated both Portsmouth and Bournemouth offered to do it for those prices. Barter the need to build a servicing relationship to swing a discount. 10% seems to be the norm at least!
