Is there to be another series?

It's usually announced first on their twitter feeds, so maybe check there?

I see its gone from the main Discovery Channel website and is not listed on the A-Z of shows.

Has it been canned?

I doubt it's been canned, it seems our American Cousins have taken a liking to it and they're quite big over there now.

Edd and Mike were talkgin about a new series on FB a lot, but it seems it was just a plug for the last one coming out over there.

Sounds like they're doing another America-based series.

According to the Virgin guide, the second episode is a Mercedes 560SL, but all it has for episode 1 is that the series is USA-based.

FORD MUSTANG

Mike and Edd return to Discovery Channel for another all-new series.

In this first episode, Mike and Edd decide that an ’80s classic – the Ford Mustang 5.0 – is the ideal and affordable muscle car on which a young aspiring mechanic can cut his teeth.

I think I am one of the only UK fans of the fox body mustangs. I absolutely love them (the fastback version) and would take one over a 2nd generation or 4th generation Mustang any day.

According to Wikipedia they will be doing:

A Volvo PV444/544
A 1st gen Honda Civic
A Merc C126 SEL
A Sunbeam Alpine
A Chevrolet LUV

From that list I am interested in the Civic and the Alpine, but I'll give all of them a whirl!

Last year they did 8 cars from their US workshop then 10 cars in the UK.

Eclectic list... looking forward to the new series as always.

Wish they'd do a another Capri (properly this time!), and as much I as I love PV Volvos, I'd really like them to do an Amazon.

They have also previously done a Range Rover classic, P38 and a L322, 2 land rover defenders/90's, a porsche 924 and a 944, 2 911's, 2 VW camper van things, 2 corvette's and 2 escorts that I can remember,

Doing two different generation Mustangs is no different.

I think the 'other' vw camper van was on one of the other shows, 'Deals on Wheels' possibly...
