Porsches at DN14/Spa this week.
Discussion
As always, some lovely cars out in the Eiffel mountains this week and wondered if any owners were on this forum? We were driving the White 991 GTS, Civic Type-R & R26.R and had some great laps in the company of some lovely cars-if I get the chance I'll upload some videos once I've processed them.
Shame about the 996 GT3 that crashed off (a regular poster on here I think?), hopefully the shell & important bits are all repairable, it was one of the nicest cars there.
One other thing, I was incredibly impressed at what an amazing track car the 991 was. Very, very impressive.

Still at Spa hoping for some decent weather in order to watch some of the PorscheDays event. Had intended to do some karting, but it's fully booked - not happy at all.
Couldn't fault DN14, what a brilliant day!
Good to see a 928 on track, other than my own! By his own admission Simon was a little rusty having not been for the last 9 years or so. He wasn't that good a checking his mirrors either...

Looks pretty wet in Spa, guessing that was Saturday

Managed to film a nice lap with some of the U.K. GT3 & GT2 cars, sounding good chaps

Would love to see videos if anyone has any.
Here's a short cliphttp://vimeo.com/166948346
Here I'm being overtaken by the three Norwegian GT3. The last guy was very patient with me as it took me a while to get out of his way. I was fixating on my mirrors and at one point I crest with significant lock which unsettled the car horribly - but it's hardly visible on the video. We had a laugh about it afterwards, they are really nice guys.

Nice! Your car sounds absolutely amazing. I just don't have the balls to go completely flat through that section. I was doing 210kmh and have been in a friends 987 cayman at 230kmh+ so I know its possible, but I just lack the cojones!fossilfuelled said:

I don't have the balls either, I always lift, but thanks anyway. On my first ever trip to the Ring I went into a massive fishtail in my 928 at about the 30 second mark in that video. It was a little damp, but it still taught me to respect even the most benign parts of the track.
Even though I retired the 928 from track day duty when I bought the Cerb, it was back at the Ring for DN13 because the Cerb was sulking.
