Worst case of spec creep ever!

Meant to buy a manual 997 c2, ended up with a 991 GT3, no buckets or cage because I didn't want them.

2 owners and 18months old and only 1100 miles. Shocking really!!! Can't believe it's not be driven it makes me sad.

Anyway 17 days until pick up!

Lovely looking car. And good for you - can't beat a good bit of spec creep - and you have certainly taken it up a notch or two! Lol

Swindon OPC regularly have some nice cars with low mileage and are good guys to deal with.

Are you going to get it detailed? Exclusive car care do a great job and are relatively local. They have detailed my last two cars and they looked stunning and have been a lot easier to maintain.

Enjoy the ride she looks a beauty.

Whilst I don't plan any track days, I've never done one before so this is probably the wrong car to try it out, I managed to put 3000 miles on my gts in the 5 weeks I've used it. I shall not imagine it will have 1100 miles on it for long......

I would say that it is the perfect car to do your first track day in. Totally safe.

Just take your time and enjoy!

I know somebody like you.....

....went looking for a 2nd hand Freelander, walked out having ordered a new Range Rover Sport, then 2 weeks later went out for a 911 C2 & came back with a GT3.....smile

...enjoy it!

Hell of a jump from a 997 C2 to a 991 GT3!!! Would have loved to hear the conversation you had with yourself to justify that jump! wink

Awesome looking car though!

Congratulations on the purchase. Your challenge (should you choose to accept it) it to double the mileage in one month biggrin

I can honestly say, I would not give the slightest fk about that. GT3 is not about trinkets and baubles, it's about a driving experience.

Great looking car OP. You are now a black-belt, second Dan in man-maths.

Surely hashtag was being ironic. I thought it was quite subtle!

Well I noticed it at the 718 launch, and had a nice look, thought nothing of it at the time.

Then I was driving to the dealership on the Friday to buy a 911 and I had a brainwave.....

The conversation went something like this....

"I should, shouldn't I?"

"Yes, yes you should!"

In terms of mileage, the current plan is pick it up from the dealer and take it for a 2700 mile hoon through Portugal, Spain, and France, thought that is not 100% confirmed.

" Accidentally "

I find that odd, people don't " Accidentally " spend £140k unless it was a very good sales man charging a 8.5% PCP and you got suckered in.
I guess you have a cooling off period !
