Have you tried Power Steering Plus? Bit of a Marmite thing IMO.[
No I haven't. I just assumed that it was really light at low speed and that it switched off as speed built up. What wouldn't I like about it?]
I don't get it personally - never felt that I was pumping iron parking the car just seems like one of the least appealing options on the list

Well with some luck my 718 s will be built tomorrow: 19/1/2017

Spec as follows

Cayman S
Bog standard white
Full black leather interior
Sports bucket carbon seats (I think a first on here)
PDK
Sports chrono
PASM -20mm
Sports steering wheel
Climate control
Heated seats
Red seat belts
718 badge sprayed black
Black sports exhaust tips
20" carrera s wheels painted in satin black.
Lovely spec, would love to see some pictures when it shows up. I'm considering the buckets, but have yet to find an example smile

It was unpleasant and not linear which I dislike personally. At least with the 981 it was a dealer activatible software option, probably still the same with the 982.

Does anyone no how long it takes to build a Cayman and delivery time just read my last email again I got from OPC salesman lockdown was 20/12/16 he states build February you will get it 1st of March is this possible or just more lies ?? What do you lads think ? Reading through the order form I should receive in writing a estimated delivery date and can still cancel up until I get letter ? So it's like 40 days till I am supposed to pick up Cayman and still no letter ?

I never actually got a build date for my 718 but my spec lock date was 22/9/16 and it arrived at the OPC 10/11/16. Hope this helps.

I saw the same car and I tried to photoshop the Carera Classic wheels onto it which I think looks far better than the black wheels.

That chap I mentioned who's on YouTube, has just seen his new 911 C4S in the midnight blue and the GB/Crayon interior and it looks fantastic IMHO. The video is below:

So I fell in love with lava orange and Platinum satin carrera S today at the POC. Never thought I'd say I'd want an orange car but it looks amazing in the flesh in my view.

I saw his video the other day ... it does look good.

I went to another local OPC today that had 981s in Night and Sapphire Blue ... I'm still unsure. The Night Blue is inky and subtle and the sapphire has a very deep metal flake so it changes colours in different lights. More confused than ever.

I think I need to see a Sapphire Blue 718 because colour is very car specific in my opinion. If it were a GT4/981CGTS then Sapphire is fantastic - then I saw a 991 in Sapphire and it didn't look very good, however, in Night Blue the 991 looks great.
