Just called at Porsche Belfast,

They have had a Miami blue, white and a black 718's delivered.

I will try and get pics this week.

I wonder why the East London 718S launch vehicle hasn't got sports exhaust. My OPC "highly" recommends that I spec one, which I'm not.

OPC East London have a Cayman on display in Black and a Cayman S in Miami Blue.

They told me to expect a July 2017 delivery date if I placed an order for a Cayman this weekend.

Has anyone else been offered anything better than that elsewhere recently?

I ordered a new Cayman 718 on the 23rd July, paid my deposit
and have heard absolutely nothing regarding locking down my final spec.
nor do I have a delivery date but it was indicated November (I assumed this year )
Been on the Cayman experience at Silverstone.
I suspect the November date has now slipped, I am beginning to think they have just
taken me out of he market!
Anyone else ordered a cayman since my deposit date and got a firm delivery date??
feeling frustrated!!!!!

Placed my deposit beginning of July. Was told at that time delivery should be "by the end of the year".

I prodded my OPC at the end of August for any delivery info. They sent me a link from their system to confirm 'specification lock in' date was 22nd Sept and expected arrival date at dealers was 18th November.

By coincidence I was at OPC today to have a peek at their Cayman demos that had arrived this week and enquired when first customer cars would arrive. He expected mine to be one of the first.

Ps You're lucky to have had your Cayman Experience already. My invite arrived on 2nd Sept and the first available date wasn't until November!!!

Heh. 17th of June paid my deposit, was told November delivery date.

Heard nothing from OPC so have chased twice now.

Still nothing. And no Experience day either.

I ordered July 4th, was told Nov/Dec, no lock down date as yet, going to dealer tomorrow to drive demo 718 Cayman in Miami Blue, 20" Carrera S + PDK, & altering spec due to Porsche adding to options................

Hatfield said yesterday that all their allocation of Boxsters and Caymans for 2016 had been ordered.

Orders were a bit slow at first due to the 4 cylinder fear and doubt spreading but once people had driven it they were ordering.

but probably be next year now so looking to bale out.

Surely a chat with the dealer principle or similar should sort out the lack of comms

Out of 718, the dealership know me, have bought from them
previous so is disappointing. Yes discount or dealer contribution whatever you want to call it.
Wife getting fed up of me being chauffeured every where - need car, I was led to believe
October / November delivery - should have asked which year
Audi RS3 Test drive at the weekend.
