I've ordered a Cayman s.... No delivery date yet even after being the first customer with deposit down..

I'm actually a little underwhelmed by the experience so far...

What have you ordered?

That's poor I have ordered same as you about 4 weeks ago, could of got Dec slot if I wanted had pick of dates but didn't want delivery until March, have spec all but decided just can't decide on colour love guards red which I currently have but need a change

Genuine question for the guys ordering one.. why would you order one of these and not get a GTS of the outgoing ones that was regarded as one of the truly best and that most journalist still say would be the one to have as opposed to the new one ?

have driven both and yes although the gts was a fabulous car the new 718 s is all round an improvement its power is phenomenal had one for the weekend think stats say it's nearly if not quicker than GT4. At the start journalists slated the new 718 for the sound track and on that basis condemned the whole car although in later reviews the tide seems to have changed. Just have to accept that Porsche are going along turbo route and although it doesn't sound as good the car overall is better

Checked with my OPC this morning.

No build slot yet - he's chasing it up. I placed my order 17th June.

They're also chasing up their demonstrator, as that hasn't arrived yet either.

I ordered a Sapphire Blue Cayman S manual on August 17 and received a build date in October with delivery in December.

Checked with the OPC this afternoon. Build date 14th October still and delivery in the first week of November so no divergence from what I was quoted a few weeks ago. I ordered in May.

Have just checked the fine print of my order.

APR for the lease is quoted at 9.9%

Thought it was 6.9% when I placed the order ... stupid of me for not being more thorough.

What APRs are others here getting on those who have gone with lease?
