Yep - gives a good idea of the colours.
Still no Sapphire Blue 718 Cayman pics or vids anywhere on the 'net.
Yeah, frustrating. I know it wasn't a colour available at launch for the 718 but surely one has been built somewhere!Still no Sapphire Blue 718 Cayman pics or vids anywhere on the 'net.
Will post pics of mine when I get it but that's not for another 8 weeks

Thanks for the pics.
What did you think of the graphite blue in the flesh? The more I see it in pictures the more i like it.... Just not sure if I'm brave enough to actually spec it.
It's not my cup of tea but then colour is all down to personal choice. Under the grey skies it looked a little lack lustre but then everything did in comparison to that lava orange Cayman. I am going for appliance white and if you like battleship blue then go for it!What did you think of the graphite blue in the flesh? The more I see it in pictures the more i like it.... Was there at Silverstone Friday for Cayman driving Event, good to see all the different colours, hadn't seen the GT silver colour until friday but now settled in my choice. They had a GT Silver 718S next to Rhodium Silver 718 Caymans.
Was surprised at Lava Orange colour in the flesh but not brave enough to select.
Liked launch control and ceramic brakes impressive. The whole morning was good to see what the Cayman can do!!.
Tried the yellow cayman 718s manual but preffered the PDK, manual clutch to me seemed heavy, I had a 981 Boxster manual
which was the same.
Didn't feel any turbo lag and the cars were urgent enough for me.
The sound is yes different, more of a growl, I actually like the exhaust noise.
Oh and yes they do seem quicker!!
I don't think anyone who has ordered will be disappointed.
Overall a good enjoyable morning.

Thank you. To be honest that's what I was expecting. In sunlight the colour looks fantastic, but my concern is that for the other 10 months of the year it'd be a bit of a dreary colour!
Decisions decisions.... I keep flirting between between that, guards red and rhodium silver!

It's not your posts, it's your supercilious condescending superior holier-than-thou attitude where you present yourself as the PH authority on all things Porsche and denigrate and antagonise those who disagree with you or have less knowledge than you.
I think you'll find most here are used to it and simply ignore the basic journalistic "loads of words but no content" posts. And the persecution complex, and the systematic projections, and the hypocrisy. Much simpler like that as it reduces the chance of yet another spoilt thread. It's a bit late for this particular one though.FourPotPorsche said:
Here is a graphite blue with the 19 inch Cayman S wheels...the latter I have specced and in the flesh I am really pleased with their appearance and should be very easy to clean
They actually look pretty good, for some reason they dont look great on the configurator. I had gone for 19 Box S, but wondering if the easier nature of cleaning might make these a better choice...edo said:

Here are some close ups:When I told the PEC instructor at Silverstone that I had opted for 19s he said that 19s would be his choice for a road car as, in conjunction with PASM, it allows the Sports mode to be used to firm up the ride without loosening your fillings giving you a compliant normal mode for pootling and a very useable sports mode for hooning (where the law permits) on the road. I think the 20s look great but (perhaps I am getting wiser) I have for once gone for substance over style.

Thanks for posting the pics .... my preferred interior . I presume when you say Beige & Sportex you mean Carbon & Sportex as there is no Beige in the Brochure / Configurator .
Is the Sportex Black ? As Carbon & Black Sportex is also not in the Brochure . Please clarify .
Now all I have to do is get rid of the silver contrast stitching which looks cheap to me ... Perhaps a black felt tip pen would do the trick >.
