996 Rear wiper

Quick question, did all UK supplied 996 Carreras come with the rear wiper as standard? I've never seen one for sale that didn't have one unlike the 997 where I see a few without.

I know it's helpful in everyday life, but I prefer the looks of one without, and this will be a weekend car. Thanks.

I have seen people remove it and blank the hole (I'm not sure if that's how it looks if not specced from factory).

You can get a kit off ebay to blank it off. On my list.

They look a bit fussy don't they?
