LETS SEE YOUR NEW DELIVERED 718 CAYMAN
Discussion
After 6 months waiting and blowing my original 45k budget, I get a call from the dealer telling me that its arrived 2 weeks early.
It was a toss up between Agate and Carrara but happy with the end results. Also PASM is definitely worth it.
Despite the other half telling me to drive it I've just been staring at it for the last hour!
Enjoy..

cheers guys, (you have good taste )
imo, I felt this colour provided a good compliment to the Black/Bordeaux interior.
Test drove an Agate Boxster, but I felt the car was a bit too stealth and figured I wanted a bit of 'pimp' this time
Also, the other half looked at the grey and kept quiet...

Like everyone, we're all impatient and expect manufacturers to deliver the 'instant' realtime consumer experience.
But if its any consolation, sometimes, the waiting makes the 'reveal' all the more sweeter.

Thanks guys. I will get some more pics up in the coming days.
First thoughts after 24 hours...
- Completely subjective I know but I love the spec. Graphite blue and the satin black Carerra S wheels look great and the S's red calipers really complete it for me.
- Serious step up in performance. I've been strict and kept it under 4K revs (as much as I can) but the performance on offer is in another league and as an everyday proposition it's much better than my 2.7 981. Obviously my own opinion.
- Sound is very different to the 981 obviously. But I'm really enjoying it. As above limiting it to under 4K revs for a while so haven't heard it properly in anger but the gargles and rumbles with PSE are cool.
- PASM is outstanding and despite thinking my 981 on 20's was compliant, which it was, this is another thing altogether.
- Full leather interior is also another highlight for me and completely takes the experience on to another level again.
- I spec'd PDLS (not full LED) and they are superb. At times my standard lights on the 981 were sh*te but these are great.
Finally a couple of small things, PDK seems quicker and smoother and has improved on something that was already great. And MPG, I know early doors, seems so far on par with my previous car.
Overall, it's really a great car. It feels very familiar but has been polished and improved in almost every area for me.

It's finally arrived after 6 long months!! Absolutely love it. Black and crayon interior is amazing and really makes the car feel special. Makes my 2.7 981 feel particularly slow indeed.
Looks really good, the black wheels are a good combination.Just taken delivery of Cayman S in Graphite Blue with Black/Bordeaux full leather and Carrera Classic wheels. Was a bit worried that the red interior might be a bit too much as it looks quite a bright red on the photos, but in the flesh it is quite subtle and I am really pleased I chose it. Hopefully post some photos at the weekend.
