996 Hardtop fitting

I've just refitted the hardtop to my 996, it's been some years since it was fitted. The installation seemed okay and the front of the roof sits okay, however there is a, large to me, gap at the rear of the roof and car body. The google images I found are unclear if this is how it should be or not.

It looks O.K. to me; looks exactly like the one on my ex-996.

I think that's correct.
Not had mine on for some time but it does usually sit a bit high
