Anyone know how Porsche feel about a car having a protective film on it (for stone chips etc) when it comes to being inspected for a 111 point check or any warranty work ?

I think it's fine. My Cayman R has had it on since new and has been through 2 111 checks for extended warranty although neither was done whilst I owned the car.

Should be fine, mine's had a warranty renewal & warranty work without any comment. Also lots of approved used cars at OPCs have PPF installed.

Has the protective film been worth it?

My GT4 had a full XPel wrap done by Porsche Reading prior to delivery. I wanted Porsche to undertake the work to assure no warranty issues.

No warranty issues, but it screws up Entry and Drive if you have it. Or at least it appears as though it has on my car.

My car is just over 4 years old and done nearly 17k miles. I'd say the paintwork really is like new as all the areas where chips/rash would normally be are totally clean. My car is grey so no discolouration at all. I've seen the invoice for around £800 and I'd say it's worth it as a used car buyer or if you plan to keep for the long term!
