Not many around at all, my mate is looking for one and there isn't much choose from when you want PASM. Exhaust, Chrono, PDK, <20K miles and a budget around 46K.

The chrono option will be the killer for that spec, can't imagine there are many non-GTSs out there with it.

I got me a nice racing Yellow 1 (981 Cayman S) with all the above spec bar the exhsust / PSE
but with the 18 way sports seats, with only 5k miles on the from Porsche Hatfield for under £46k 2 weeks ago and am more than happy with it cool Only used the Sports+ at the week end due to the crap weather at long last subsiding,and..Oh..My..Days.. smile She really comes alive..That's not to say it's not a quick car in normal guise.. And yes,I do know a 'quick' car as I traded in my 525+ bhp/ft/lb 996 Turbo for her.. wink

Yup, the PSE he cant have retro fitted. A GTS would be a better car for him but he doesn't want to jump to that price yet. I've even when over in my GTS on the weekend to try and tease him lol.

That sounds a good deal, he would be happy with that and get the PSE retro fitted. He is looking daily so hopefully he finds one.

Thanks for that everyone.
What about the VIN numbers, would there be any clues in there to indicate when it was built and any relevance to cayman build number....

This is a bit frustrating as rarities are obviously related to numbers built.

There is a Rumour that the final 981s were built at the end of 2014 ???
Keep trying chaps, someone must be able to find out...

Gadgit
Seems unlikely they were still doinbg to order cards in late 2015.

This is how it worked for my 996 Turbo and I'm fairly confident it's the same for the Cayman...
The last 4 digits of your VIN / Chassis number are the model year (MY) serial number
for that model i.e. 0001 is number 1 for that model year..
