as the title says, has anyone had the 5mm spacers fitted?

I have 7mm fitted to the rear of my 981S to reduce offset from 11" wheels' 55ET to ET48 for inner clearance purposes.

to the front or back and on what car?

I've got 7mm and you won't really notice much visual difference as said, mine were fitted along with more camber to dial out the under steer.

so you guys have fitted them for technical purposes whereas i'll confess i was looking into this more from a styling perspective, though any handling improvements would of course be welcome.

very difficult to find any useful before and after shots in this regard.

You really will struggle to notice anything below 10mm, only reason you'd do less is as mentioned for clearance.

I fitted 12mm on my RS6 recently and the steering was certainly weightier.

Fitted on my 991, it makes a subtle difference to appearance. Worthwhile, hard to say.
